WWE to Begin Split Production Crews for Raw and Smackdown

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will begin running separate production crews for Raw and Smackdown in anticipation of the FOX launch later in 2019 due to the reason that Smackdown is moving from Tuesdays to Fridays.

The Smackdown crew will do their usual Friday show as well as a house show on Saturday while the Raw crew will work the Monday show as well as the house show (or PPV) on Sunday. Another reason for splitting the crews is because the company plans to push the house shows more by having them air on the WWE Network on a regular basis.
