WWE RAW Results - November 19, 2018

We are live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and Baron Corbin is in the ring as we start things off.

Baron welcomes everyone to the undisputed A Show, Raw. Baron says last night was one for the history books and credit goes to one person. She is a titan in the industry and a visionary who orchestrated last night’s sweep. She is his boss… Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie says for the people who did not watch Survivor Series, Raw cleaned up. It was a clean sweep. A lot of the success was due to the acting General Manager of Raw. Stephanie says every single superstar on the Raw roster helped to decimate Smackdown. Her brother Shane had to cheat and steal to try to win. Stephanie says tonight, they are going to celebrate.

Baron says we have an excited night of action, after a little housekeeping. Baron says that Stephanie made some promises and he reminds Stephanie about saying that she might make his job more permanent. Stephanie says she made some promises…

Braun Strowman’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Braun says last night at Survivor Series, he held up his end of the bargain so it is time for Stephanie to hold up her own end and he wants a match against that slimeball.

Stephanie says she made a promise. At TLC, Baron Corbin will… Braun says GET THESE HANDS. Stephanie says that if Baron can defeat Braun at TLC, he will be permanent General Manager of Raw. If he loses, he will lose all authority. Braun says that Baron will lose because he gets to pick the stipulation and he won’t be liable for ripping Baron to shreds.

Stephanie says she is working on that with the lawyers and dismemberment is an issue with liability. Braun asks about his Universal Championship match. Stephanie says Braun will get his title match at Royal Rumble, only if he can beat Baron Corbin at TLC. She says this is a good deal for Braun. Do you think you can’t beat Baron Corbin?

Braun welcomes Baron to Monday Night Braun. He tells Baron to enjoy his time as acting General Manager while it lasts because he gets to pick the stipulation. They will have a TLC match at TLC. You are going to get these hands, these tables, these ladders, and these chairs. Baron says that is a terrible idea. He says the match favors him. He will leave Braun is a pile of twisted steel and rubble. That is if you can make it to TLC. Baron says that Braun will face Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a handicap match.

Stephanie says that is a great match, but they need to one up that match. They need to make it a six man tag match. It will be Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin versus Braun Strowman, Elias, and Finn Balor. That match will happen next. But first… We go to commercial.

Bobby Lashley (with Lio Rush), Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, and Elias in an Elimination Match

Back from the break and Elias says that he will be leading you to the promised land and you will need to follow one universal truth and that is that WWE stands for Walk With Elias.

Corbin and Strowman start things off. Corbin tags Drew in before locking up. Drew with a waist lock into a side head lock and Drew with a shoulder tackle but Braun stays on his feet. Drew with a knee and chop but Braun sends Drew into the turnbuckles. Drew with a boot and punches. Braun with a shoulder tackle and Drew goes down. Balor tags in and Braun slams Finn onto Drew. Drew with a slam to Balor. Drew misses a charge into the corner and Balor goes for an enzuigiri but Drew with a forearm. Drew sends Balor into the ringside barrier.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Drew with a suplex to Balor for a near fall. Corbin tags in and he kicks Balor in the ribs. Baron with a forearm and kicks to Balor and then he tags in Lashley. Lashley with a running shoulder into the corner for a near fall. Corbin tags back in. Balor with forearms and he tries to make the tag but Corbin keeps Balor away from Braun. Balor with elbows but Baron runs Balor into the corner. Balor with a boot and Baron with Deep Six for a near fall. Lashley tags in and he sends Balor into the turnbuckles. Lashley with a hard Irish whip to Balor.

Lashley with an Irish whip but Balor tries to float over and Lashley catches Balor. Balor with a rollup for a near fall. Lashley with a clothesline for a near fall. Lashley sets for a power bomb but Balor counters and goes for a back drop but Lashley holds on for a sunset flip and Balor rolls through and kicks Lashley. Elias tags in and he connects with forearms. Elias with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner followed by kicks.

Lashley with an Irish whip and Elias with a mule kick when he floats over. Corbin goes over the top rope when he charges at Elias. Lashley with a forearm. Elias with a boot and Balor tags in. Balor and Elias with a double clothesline to send Elias over the top rope to the floor. Balor with a plancha onto Corbin and Lashley. Balor goes up top and Drew crotches Balor when Lashley distracts the referee. McIntyre tags in and hits a Claymore to eliminate Finn. Back to commercial.

We are back and Drew tags in and kicks Elias. Corbin tags in and kicks Elias. Lashley tags in and kicks Elias. Drew tags in and takes Elias to the mat and applies an arm bar. Elias with kicks but Drew with a clothesline. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Lashley tags in and hits an overhead belly-to-belly throw. Lashley gets a near fall and then he punches Elias. Lashley sends Elias into the turnbuckles and tags Corbin back in. Corbin sends Elias into the turnbuckles. Elias blocks a punch and punches Corbin. Corbin with a hard Irish whip.

Lashley goes after Strowman and McIntyre with a knee off the steps to Braun. Elias with a jumping knee to Corbin and he goes up top for an elbow drop. Lashley breaks up the cover and Elias is sent to the floor. Lio gets in Elias’ sight line and Lio decides to run away and leap over Elias. Elias pushes Lio into the ringside barrier and Lashley with a spear on the floor. Elias is counted out because he cannot beat the ten count. Elias Eliminated as we go to commercial.

We are back and Drew with knees and punches to Strowman. Lashley tags in and Bobby with a shoulder tackle. Corbin tags in and he punches Strowman. Corbin with boots to Strowman. Corbin with a half nelson and chin lock on Strowman. Strowman with an arm drag and running shoulder tackles. Braun with a splash into the corner followed by a forearm to the chest. Strowman with a running shoulder tackle to Lashley on the floor and then he runs into a boot from Corbin. Strowman grabs Corbin by the throat and then hits a power slam but Drew hits Strowman with a chair and is disqualified. Drew McIntyre eliminated

Lashley comes in and takes over but drew beats on Strowman some more, knocking him out of the ring with the chair. Lashley and Drew destroy Strowman at ringside now as Rush cheers them on. They launch him into the barrier and then the steel ring steps. Strowman is placed on top of the bottom piece to the steps as Corbin laughs. Corbin approaches and Strowman grabs him by his neck. Lashley makes the save and Drew follows up with a big Claymore Kick. The three heels launch Strowman into the steps again. Corbin with a chair shot over Strowman’s back while he’s down as the boos continue. Corbin with another chair shot. Strowman’s elbow is bleeding now. Corbin gives his belt to Lashley. Lashley puts it around Strowman’s arm and keeps his arm down on the steps. Corbin goes to slam a chair into the arm but he stops. He picks up the other half of the steps and slams them down into Braun’s arm instead. Strowman rolls around in pain, screaming out as the referee checks on him. Other officials are called down to check on Strowman. Corbin stands tall as the boos pick up. Strowman stumbles to his feet and clutches the arm. Strowman goes back down in pain. We go to replays. Corbin, McIntyre, Lashley and Rush stand tall on the stage as trainers check on Strowman at ringside. Strowman tells them that he can’t feel his fingers right now. He also said he can’t move his arm. The announcers play up the seriousness of the situation.

– The announcers talk about WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins as we see Strowman get up and start walking out as fans cheer him on. Cole leads us to a replay of last week’s burning barrel promo from Dean Ambrose. Rollins will be up next. We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and WWE Intercontinental Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Seth says what a weekend. Seth says that you know last night was six years to the day that the Shield made its debut in WWE. For the better part of those six years, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and himself ran this place. After his match last night against Shinsuke Nakamura, he had some time to reflect on the last six years. Seth says that has made this situation with Dean Ambrose that hard to stomach. It has only been a few weeks, but it feels like an eternity because Dean has not come to confront him. That will end at TLC when they meet for his Intercontinental Championship.

Seth says he listened to what Dean said and saw what he did with the vest. Dean said the Shield was a burden. Seth says he learned more about Dean from watching the Chronicle show on the WWE Network. He did not know that Dean had an infection while in the hospital. It was because Dean never answered his calls. Seth says he has known Dean for ten years and that special was the first time Dean said love. Seth says for the last four weeks, all you have been doing is hiding and talking. They will have their match at TLC, but Seth wants to talk about tonight.

Seth says he is looking for a fight.

Dean appears on the TitanTron and he says Seth is looking a little desperate. Will you rile him up and make Dean act like a lunatic? Things have changed. The Shield has done more harm than good. Nobody knows how they were when the camera stopped rolling or behind the scenes. They were rotten to the core from the beginning. They will all pay for it in their separate ways. Everyone will get what they deserve.

Look at Roman. For what he did in the Shield, he has to answer to the man upstairs. What’s worse is that Seth has to answer to him. What will happen next? Dean tells Seth to find him and he will show him what is next. Seth leaves the ring and goes to the back.

Michael asks Renee about Dean. Renee says she does not know why he is doing what he is doing, but she understands why he is doing this.

Seth walks in the back and he is looking for Dean Ambrose. We see Rollins asking staffers and security about where Ambrose is. One security guard says he doesn’t know where Ambrose is but Rollins better get out of his face. Rollins drops the guy. Rollins yells out for Ambrose some more and keeps looking for him. Graves accuses Renee of knowing more than she’s saying but she says she only knows so much.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax

We go to the ring and out comes Sasha Banks. Bayley joins her and they head to the ring together. We go to commercial.

Alexa Bliss joins commentary for the next match.

Sasha and Nia start things off and Sasha with punches but Nia runs Sasha into the corner. Sasha with drop kicks and forearms to Nia. Bayley tags in and Sasha with a clothesline off Bayley’s back. Bayley with kicks and then Sasha tags in and kicks Nia. Bayley tags back in and Nia sends Bayley to the mat. Tamina tags in and punches Bayley. Tamina with a head butt and Irish whip. Tamina with an Irish whip but Bayley with an elbow and she kicks Tamina into the corner. Bayley runs Tamina into the corner and Sasha tags in.

Tamina sends Bayley to the apron. Sasha with a drop kick and Bayley tags in and hits a running knee. Bayley with an elbow into the corner. Bayley with a knee in the corner and Sasha tags in and hits a slingshot double knee strike. Nia is sent to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and stuff is going on in the ring while Corey sucks up to Alexa. Bayley with a jaw breaker. Sasha tags in and Nia gets Sasha up but Sasha gets to her feet and she kicks Nia and hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Nia sends Sasha to the floor and Tamina takes care of Sasha on the floor. Tamina tags in and sends Sasha back into the ring and gets a near fall. Nia with kicks and then she tags Tamina in and hits a running hip into the corner. Sasha with Meteora to Tamina and both women are down.

Bayley tags in and knocks Nia off the apron but Tamina with a super kick. Tamina tells Nia to get into the ring and Bayley with a rollup for a near fall. Bayley with a hanging cutter in the ropes and she hits a second one. Bayley with punches and the referee pulls Bayley away. Bayley with a Thesz Press and punches. Bayley with a knee to the head and Bayley goes up top. Bayley with a cross body for a near fall.

Tamina gets Bayley on her shoulders but Bayley gets to her feet. Nia with a punch from the apron and Nia tags in. Nia runs Bayley into the turnbuckles and sends her to the mat. Nia with a running body block and Sasha breaks up the cover. Bayley with a sleeper but Nia with a snap mare. Nia runs into boots and Bayley goes to the turnbuckles but Tamina distracts Bayley. Nia with a vertical choke and Samoan drop for the three count.

Winners: Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax

– We go to the back where Dean Ambrose interrupts Charly Caruso’s introduction for her interview. Dean asks Charly to find everyone’s favorite, Seth Rollins and he is waiting where The Shield used to call home. We see Ambrose exit through a back door. Charly looks confused as we go back to commercial.

– We are back and Seth makes his way to the basement and he continues his search for Dean but he sees the back of the door and it says “Burn It Down”.

– We take a look at #1 Drake Maverick showing that he might want to limit his liquid intake prior to going to the ring.

Backstage:

We see Drake Maverick at catering and he is asked if he tried the peas. Rhyno and Heath Slater look at the video. Rhyno suggests that he should get some adult diapers and Slater says he can fit in children’s diapers.

Chad says he doesn’t know what Drake is talking about and he tells Drake not to get pissed. Bobby Roode says there is no beef here and he says that they are glad that Drake is in bladder shape… better shape tonight. Drake says that Bobby and Chad are in trouble now and Bobby and Chad laugh because they heard Drake say ‘urine’ (he said “You are in”).

The Lucha House Party vs. The Revival

We go to the ring and out comes The Lucha House Party – Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik. Back to commercial.

Rome announces that this match will be held under Lucha House rules, which means all three members can participate.

Dawson and Kalisto start things off and Wilder tags in and Kalisto with a Listo kick. Dorado tags in and then Metalik tags in. Kalisto with a splash off Dorado’s knees. Dorado with a moonsault and then Metalik with a drop kick. Dorado with a rollup for a near fall. Wilder with a forearm and Dawson tags in. Dawson blocks a kick and then hits a dragon screw on Kalisto. Dawson with a step over toe hold. Kalisto with a lateral press counter on a belly-to-back attempt and Kalisto gets a near fall. Wilder picks up Penelope and throws it to the mat. Kalisto kicks Wilder and Dorado tags in and hits a cross body onto Dawson. Dorado with a drop kick to WIlder and a quebrada.

Dawson is pulled to the floor and Dorado with a head scissors and then Dorado is sent to the apron. Wilder with a forearm to Dorado but Metalik leaps over Wilder and then tosses Penelope to the floor. Dorado with a shooting star press for the three count.

Winners: The Lucha House Party

– We take a look at the match between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey and what happened after the match. Back to commercial.

Backstage:

Seth Rollins continues his search for Dean Ambrose. Charly Caruso stops Seth and asks him about Dean’s mind games. Seth says he is going to find Dean Ambrose and he is going to hurt Dean Ambrose. Dean can say what he wants about him, but to talk about Roman, that is going too far. We see Dean walk behind Seth… Seth says he is going to ask Dean why he turned his back on them. Titus O’Neil tells Seth that Dean was just here but Seth goes down the wrong hallway.

In the Arena:

onda says she will be defending her title at TLC against Nia Jax. Ronda says she is aware of how dangerous Nia Jax is. Look at Becky’s face. At TLC, she is going to tap out Nia Jax. Win, lose, or draw, and it will be a win, the next chapter of Ronda Rousey versus Charlotte Flair will be written. She will find Charlotte and finish what they started last night. Ronda says she did not come here to hit her poses and placate for your sympathy and talk about fighting. She came here to show what a true champion is. They will face anyone who comes at her and send them down to the bottom. A champion cannot pick and choose her fights, that is a contender’s luxury. A true champion stands guard regardless of how you feel. If you cannot defend your position, you step aside. Ronda says this is her on her worst day. If you know her, you know she is not stepping aside. If she cannot defend her title tonight, then she does not deserve to be champion.

Baron Corbin’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. Baron tells Ronda her request to defend the title has been denied. Baron says that he, in good conscience, cannot let her fight tonight. Ronda says she has had 17 fights and she never pulled out of one or postponed one. She never did because that is what it takes to be the baddest bitch on the planet. She tells Baron to find a challenger for her title. Maybe you want a shot at the champ? Baron wishes Ronda luck and he will find an opponent and she will be the next Raw Women’s Champion. We go to commercial.

Ronda Rousey vs. Mickie James for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship

They lock up and Ronda with a take down and punches in the corner. Ronda is pulled out of the corner but she continues with the punches. The referee stops her again and Mickie with a thrust kick and knees to Ronda. Mickie with a knee to the midsection followed by kicks to the midsection and head. Mickie with a punch and she goes for a rear naked choke. Ronda with judo throws followed by the Piper’s Pit. Ronda hits a second one. Ronda with a third one and she applies the arm bar and forces Mickie to tap out.

Winner: Ronda Rousey

After the match, Rousey stands tall and raises the title as her music plays. Rousey exits the ring and greets fans on the way up the ramp. Rousey stops and turns back towards the ring. She turns back around as Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka come out to the ramp. Jax stares her down in her face and smiles, taunting her as The Facebreaker. Jax and Snuka go back to the back without anything happening.

– Cole leads us to a video package with highlights from WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s win over WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series.

The Authors of Pain vs. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable

We go to the ring and out comes the team of Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. We go back to commercial as they make their entrance.

Akam and Gable start things off and Akam with a take down and knee. Akam with a biel and then he tags in Rezar. Rezar with a knee as Akam sends Gable to the ground. Rezar with a back breaker over his shoulder. Gable with a sleeper but Rezar with a snap mare and he catches Gable as he tries to make the tag. Rezar with a spinebuster and punches. Gable with a triangle in the ropes and then he moves as Rezar moves into the corner.

Roode tags in and hits a shoulder and follows with punches. Roode with a kick to Rezar and a drop kick to Akam. Roode with a running shoulder and then he leaps over Rezar. Roode gets a near fall. Akam with a clothesline in the corner and he tags in. They Irish whip Roode and Roode takes care of both men. Roode with a blockbuster to Akam and Gable tags in. Gable with a sunset flip from the turnbuckles for the three count.

Winners: Chad Gable and Bobby Roode

After the match, Roode and Gable quickly retreat to the floor and celebrate the surprise win. Drake and AOP look on from the ring as Roode’s music plays.

Backstage:

Dean Ambrose is in the bowels of the building and he asks Seth if he thinks he is playing games. He is not playing games. He is enjoying watch Seth run around like a lunatic. He is here. Dean calls Seth whiny. This isn’t about Roman, it is about the bond between brothers. Broken, crushed, shattered. If you find him, Dean vows to break and crush Seth, and then shatter his bones. Dean asks if we can smell that. Dean asks if he is smelling the stench of Seth Rollins’ fear. Maybe it is Los Angeles. Dean says it is coming from you people. If you find him, there is no explanation and there is no apology. Dean says he will just burn it down. We go to commercial.

– We are back and we see Seth Rollins leaving the arena. He is asked if he is leaving without finding Dean Ambrose. Seth says he has a red eye flight but he has him at TLC.

Natalya vs. Ruby Riott (with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan)

Ruby wants Natalya to back off as she gets into the ring. Natalya with a double leg take down and punches. Natalya punches Ruby in the ropes but Ruby with a kick and she sends Natalya to the mat. Ruby with punches. Natalya with a slap but Ruby with an Irish whip. Natalya with a slingshot atomic drop and then she runs over Ruby’s back and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Natalya punches Ruby in the corner. Natalya with a take down and she sets for the Sharpshooter but Ruby gets to the ropes and goes to the floor. Natalya goes after Ruby and Ruby gets into the ring. Sarah distracts Natalya and Ruby with a flatliner. Ruby kicks Natalya to the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ruby with a cravate. Natalya with punches but Ruby turns it into a front face lock. Ruby turns it into a guilllotine and adds a body scissors. Natalya with a Michinoku Driver. Natalya gets a near fall. Natalya with forearms and punches and then Natalya utters a nasty word before charging into the corner. Ruby with an elbow and an STO. Ruby goes to the turnbuckles and hits a coffin drop cannonball for a near fall. Ruby with boots to the midsection and then Ruby goes up top.

Natalya press slams Ruby off the turnbuckles. Natalya with a discus clothesline and then she punches Logan on the apron. Natalya with a double leg take down and she applies the Sharpshooter but Liv pulls Ruby out of the hold. Ruby with a rollup for a near fall but Natalya counters to get the three count.

Winner: Natalya

– We take a look at what happened at the end of the opening elimination tag match. Michael Cole announces that Braun Strowman has suffered a shattered elbow.

– Dean Ambrose walks in the back and he makes his way to the ring. But first… We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

Back from the break and out comes Dean Ambrose to the ring. He’s still holding the bandanna over his nose because of the stench in Los Angeles.

Fans boo as Ambrose takes the mic. He says this is too easy. He mocks the fans and starts taking shots. Ambrose says these people would probably stab their family members in the back for a meal, so at least his was justified. He says the way they chant their little hearts out for Seth Rollins makes him sick, literally sick. He goes on about how the people smell. The cameras show Rollins walking backstage. The crowd pops.

Ambrose sees Rollins as he starts running through the back. Ambrose looks a bit nervous now. Rollins runs to the ring and tackles Ambrose. Rollins unloads. Ambrose tries to escape but Rollins clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Rollins runs the ropes for a suicide dive into the barrier. Rollins keeps unloading as officials are out to try and break it up. Rollins brawls Ambrose into the crowd and back over the barrier. They come back in the ring and Ambrose misses a clothesline. Rollins superkicks Ambrose in the face. Ambrose avoids the Stomp and follows up with a low blow, bringing Rollins to the mat. Fans boo.

Ambrose grabs Rollins by the head and talks some more trash. Ambrose drops Rollins with a Dirty Deeds. Ambrose goes to leave but comes back in and drops Rollins. Ambrose mocks and taunts Rollins before pushing him over to the mat as officials yell at him. RAW goes off the air with Ambrose getting back up to stand over Rollins.
