Tonight’s WWE Mixed Match Challenge episode features Braun Strowman & Ember Moon vs. Bobby Lashley & Mickie James Plus Charlotte & Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz & Asuka.
They start off by talking about what happened at the end of Smackdown when Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles to become the new WWE Champion. They wonder what will happen with AJ Styles since he is scheduled to wrestle tonight.
Braun Strowman & Ember Moon vs. Bobby Lashley & Mickie James
Ember and Mickie face off first while Strowman gets the crowd pumped up. Back and forth action as Ember looks for a backslide, James turns it into an abdominal stretch. Backstage, Paige talked to Charlotte and said Styles isn’t in the right frame of mind for tonight’s match, so Charlotte will get a new partner. Back in the ring, double clotheslines take down both women. Strowman ends up tagging in and he has a face off with Strowman. Strowman yells a bit and ends up shoving Lashley back into the corner, more yelling. Lashley shoves Strowman into the corner.
They collide in the middle of the ring, but neither go down. Lashley with a kick to the midsection, stuns the big man, Strowman with a big kick that drops Lashley. Rush with a distraction, Lashley takes advantage and tries for a suplex, but Lashley is the one who goes up and down. Ember chases after Rush, but Mickie lands a dropkick from the apron. Strowman chases Rush, takes out Lashley. Back in the ring, Ember recovers and hits the eclipse for the pinfall victory.
Winners: Braun Strowman and Ember Moon via Pinfall
– Winners of this year’s Mixed Match Challenges will get the 30th spot in this year’s Men and Women’s Royal Rumbles.

Charlotte & Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz & Asuka
Miz and Jeff get things start with Miz taunting his opponent a bit with some “Delete” chants. Hardy sends Miz from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, kick, tries for twist of fate and Miz backs away. Asuka wants in against Charlotte. The two battle for offense, they trade wristlocks, Charlotte takes Asuka down, but Asuka looks for an Asuka Lock early on. Charlotte with an arm drag, Asuka with one of her own and they end with a double dropkicks. Leg kick by Asuka, Charlotte ends up on the apron, Miz charges her and gets a big boot. Asuka with a hip attack, sending Charlotte to the floor, Asuka follows and tosses Charlotte back into the ring. Asuka with a low kick, nope, Charlotte with a pin, two-count.
Hardy is tagged in and Miz gets dropped almost immediately. Hardy with a side russian leg sweep, pin, two. Looks for twist of fate again, nope, hits whisper in the win though, cover, two-count. Hardy with an enziguri, sending Miz to the corner, looks for another kick, Miz counters, tries for skull crushing finale, cover, two. Miz with a DDT, pin, and Charlotte breaks things up. Asuka in, boot to the face and dumps Charlotte out to the ring. Miz with a swings and miss on Hardy, almost hits Asuka. Miz with a roll-up, Asuka nails Hardy, but he’s able to still kick out. Miz looks for his finisher, nah, Asuka tags in, spinning heel kick on Charlotte, duel “it” kicks. Miz tries for a last one, misses, twist of fate hits. Charlotte with a spear, figure-eight in the middle of the ring and Asuka taps out. This is the first time Miz and Asuka have lost in the Mixed Match Challenge.
Winners: Charlotte and Jeff Hardy via Submission
