After most big pay-per-views we always have the chance to seeing an NXT Superstar receive their main roster call-up. But the rumor is that we could be seeing a couple names make their main roster debuts, following tonight’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
Joe Peisich said on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that he’s heard two Superstar additions to the main roster are expected. But the real question is which ones will get the call.
“Two of the guys from what I hear, two of the guys from what I hear of all the matches we’re going to talk about [during NXT TakeOver: WarGames] are gonna be called up to the main roster the following Monday or Tuesday for SmackDown. Could be Aleister Black, could be Johnny Gargano or it could be one Tommaso Ciampa (I don’t think if he’s going to retain the title) or the Velveteen Dream.”
