– The company made an announcement via The Chicago Tribune that next year’s Survivor Series PPV will take place in Chicago, Illinois.
WWE will hold events inside the Allstate Arena from November 22-25. This will be considered the 30th anniversary of the last Survivor Series that took place in Chicago, back in 1989.
“WWE is so proud of our relationship with our fans in Chicago,” WWE Executive VP of Special Events John Saboor stated. “Allstate Arena, going back to when it was known as Rosemont Horizon, has been such an important partner of WWE, dating back to the ’80s.”
– Team RAW ended up winning all 6 matches on the Survivor Series pay-per-view this year. Team SmackDown won the Kickoff match but WWE is not counting that win in the official count as they are pushing a clean sweep for the red brand. SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and Acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin tweeted the following after the show:
Cheaters never prosperThat’s a clean sweep for Raw!#Raw #SurvivorSeries

This wasn’t the night I had in mind for Team Blue.
Tomorrow is a new day, but something is going to have to change come Tuesday. #SurvivorSeries— Shane McMahon (@shanemcmahon) November 19, 2018
