Rumor Killer on The Undertaker at Survivor Series, Pete Dunne Injury Update, Cody Rhodes Talks Takeover

Undertaker

– Cody Rhodes took to Twitter after last night’s Takeover event and tweeted the following on his dad, the late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, who came up with the original War Games concept:

So proud of Dad. Tonight a group of exceptional atheletes entertained a full house in Los Angeles, in a match inspired by his vision. So glad people enjoyed it.

It feels cool being one of those out there that rememeber. #NXTTakeOver

– We noted back in early October that WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne had been pulled from a few appearances due to an undisclosed injury, which was described as severe at one point. Triple H noted during last night’s post-Takeover interviews that Dunne had been working through a broken bone in his foot. Dunne needed to take a few weeks off from in-ring action to heal but he’s good to go now. Dunne did show some signs of limping at Takeover last night but it didn’t seem to hold him back.

The Undertaker made a rare signing appearance on Saturday at the Frank & Sons Collectibles Show in Los Angeles, which is the location for tonight’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view at the Staples Center. PWInsider is reporting that Taker has already left L.A., so he will not be appearing at tonight’s pay-per-view.

The Taker signing drew long lines, as seen below:
