The WWE World Cup qualifying matches begin this week on RAW.
Baron Corbin set up a sham battle royal full of unknown wrestlers to compete for a spot in the World Cup in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel. Corbin eliminated everyone except for one.
One of the men in the ring was someone in a gold costume with a gold mask on as The Conquistador, a gimmick used for enhancement talent in the 1980’s. That man turned out to be Raw General Manager Kurt Angle and he eliminated Corbin after hitting several trademark spots including the Angle Slam.
