Kevin Owens is likely done wrestling for the rest of the year. As noted, he will be undergoing knee surgery soon and that is why they did the injury angle on Monday Night Raw at the hands of Bobby Lashley.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, they don’t know the full extent of the damage in his knee and the hope is that it will only need minor surgery, which would keep him out for about four months.
It is also possible that he will need major surgery and if that is the case then he could be out approximately eight months, which means he would be out of WrestleMania.
The one good sign is that he’s been able to walk on his leg but, as Dave Meltzer pointed out in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, wrestlers like Owens are very tough with these kinds of injuries and they can get a lot more serious.
