Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
During the match, it was made clear that Lashley and Lio Rush are heels because they had Rush on the mic giving instructions throughout the match and fans did not like it. There was a big pop when Owens chased Rush around ringside.
After the match, Lashley proceeded to attack Owens while the referees pleaded for him to stop. The announcers said that Lashley proclaimed on social media that a change was needed, which appears to be this heel turn.
There has been talk for weeks in WWE about tweaking Lashley’s character so it looks like the heel turn is official. It’s unclear if this means that Kevin Owens is now officially a babyface but it looks like the Lashley/Owens feud will continue.
