WWE RAW Results - September 24, 2018

We are live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, as a limousine pulls up. Acting RAW General Manager Baron Corbin is waiting.

Stephanie McMahon steps out and Baron wishes her a happy birthday. She just stares at him as he starts singing happy birthday. Triple H steps out and Corbin stops singing. Corbin has Stephanie’s office all ready to lead her to but she says everything she can say to him, she can say it right here. Triple H walks off because this is too awkward to witness. Stephanie scolds Corbin for the job she’s done since Kurt Angle was forced to go on vacation, noting how he booked himself in a WWE Universal Title match last week. Corbin doesn’t accept the blame and comments on The Shield running wild. Stephanie says he’s lost control. She tells him to get two partners to face The Shield tonight and threatens him with his job, mentioning Angle again. Stephanie walks off.

– We go inside the arena as Michael Cole welcomes us to RAW. He’s joined by Corey Graves and Renee Young.

– The Shield immediately comes out to a pop – Dean Ambrose, WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. They come through the crowd as JoJo does the introductions.

Dean says what you are looking at are the three workhorses in WWE. They may have lost a few battles, but they have never lost a war. As you can see, they are still standing. Roman says you can read off their resumes, but it would take all day. Roman says the simple fact is all they have to do is this (as Roman and Seth raise their title belts). Roman says these are the keys to the kingdom. That is why Brock Lesnar came back. That is why Baron Corbin is booking himself in championship matches. These will change your life. The fact is that the only men who deserve these championships are the ones standing in the ring.

Seth says this is about being the best. Braun wanted power so much that he recruited a couple of jackasses to team with him. Seth says the world’s largest substitute teacher thinks that The Shield is a problem. Stephanie told him to find a few partners to show The Shield who is boss. Baron, they are out here and they would love to show you how big of a problem they can be right now.

Baron Corbin’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Baron says that his boss, Stephanie is here and it is her birthday. He will not let Raw erupt into madness like it has the last few weeks. Baron says that his partners and he will be throwing them around like ragdolls so he will impress his boss. Baron says they will show who you really are. A couple of selfish individuals. No one likes any of you individually or as a team.

Baron brings out Braun Strowman with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. They have their mics with them. Braun tells Roman to shine that belt up real nice because he won’t be wearing too long. As far as the Shield is concerned, he can see the cracks forming and it will be a matter of time before they implode. It will be the two of you against the four of them.

Braun says that Dean is seeing the light. Dolph says that the Shield needs Dean, but Dean doesn’t need the Shield. Dolph says that he was on Smackdown with Dean when he was the WWE Champion and he did it on his own. They have everything and you have nothing.

Drew says that he is brutally honest and some times the truth hurts. Last week, you pushed him to his limits and Drew says he was lucky to win that match. Drew says that Roman and Seth do not appreciate you. You deserve more.

Dolph says they probably call him Disposable Dean. Who did Seth beg to come back when Seth couldn’t beat him. What did you get out of it? Nothing. Braun was going to cash in his briefcase and what did you do? You sacrificed yourself for Roman. What did you get? Nothing. Seth is champion. Roman is champion. Dean is a sucker.

Seth says that Dolph is full of it.

Dolph says that Seth isn’t even letting Dean talk. Then he asks Seth how long did it take to replace Dean with Jason Jordan? A few weeks. Did you even check on Dean while he was out to see how he was doing. Dolph points out that they are the tag team champions. At Crown Jewel, Braun will beat Roman for the Universal Championship. If you hang out with them, the Intercontinental Title is yours. What he said is absolutely true. It is not easy and it would be nothing short of treason to turn your back on them.

Roman tells Dolph to shut up and he says that the people did not pay their money to bump your gums, they paid their money to whoop your asses.

It looks like we’re about to have a fight but Corbin runs down and gets in between as the heels reach the bottom of the ramp. Fans want the fight but Corbin says it’s not happening. Corbin says McIntyre and Ziggler have to defend tonight, and he will take care of The Shield with his partners. Braun’s music hits as The Shield looks on from the ring.
