Drake Maverick says tonight’s show will have ramifications for the Cruiserweight Division going forward. Buddy Murphy has a title match in Melbourne but tonight Tony Nese will face Gran Metalik. Cedric Alexander will call out Drew Gulak tonight. What will happen tonight? Will Cedric turn the tables on Gulak or is Cedric walking into a trap?

We are in Detroit, Michigan and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.

Tony Nese is asked about his match against Gran Metalik. Tony yells at Kayla about interviewing him before his match. She asks Buddy about getting a title match in Australia. Buddy says to be chosen for Super Show Down was an easy choice for Drake. He is Melbourne’s biggest star. Buddy says he came close to beating Cedric in his home town. Now, Cedric is coming to his home town. Buddy says he will be the one to have thousands of people cheer for him as he becomes the next Cruiserweight Champion. Tonight, Tony Nese does what he does best . . . take care of business.

Gran Metalik versus Tony Nese

They lock up and Metalik with a waist lock. Nese with a standing switch into a side head lock. Nese with a shoulder tackle. Metalik with an arm drag followed by one from Nese and then both men go for a drop kick at the same time. Nese has a kick blocked. Nese with a back elbow but Metalik with a chop. Nese with an Irish whip and Metalik floats over. Nese flips out of the corner and connects with a series of kicks.

Nese goes for a quebrada but Metalik moves and Nese lands on his feet. Metalik with a slingshot arm drag. Metalik with a springboard arm drag and Nese goes to the floor. Metalik drop kicks Nese off the apron and he goes for a baseball slide but Nese ducks and then he takes Metalik down with a leg sweep on the apron. Nese goes for a power bomb on the apron but Metalik grabs the ropes and is able to escape. Metalik with a super kick that knocks Nese off the apron. Nese catches Metalik off the apron and swings Metalik into the ringside barrier.

Nese sends Metalik into the ring and Nese gets a near fall. Metalik with a kick and he goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT but Nese counters into a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Nese with kicks. Metalik with forearms but Nese with a chop. Nese with an Irish whip but Metalik with a back elbow and moonsault but Nese catches Metalik. Metalik counters into a DDT and Nese is down.

Metalik with slingblade bulldog and then he hits a springboard drop kick for a near fall. Metalik with a rollup for a near fall. Metalik with a chop and then he goes for a handspring move but Nese with a spinning heel kick and both men are down. Nese goes for a suplex but Metalik lands on his feet. Nese goes to the turnbuckles but Metalik with an enzuigiri. Metalik with a rana over the top rope to the floor. Metalik with a kick and he goes up top and goes for a moonsault to the floor but Nese gets his feet up.

Metalik with a forearm but Nese clips Metalik and hits the Fosbury Flop. Nese goes up top and hits a 450 splash for a near fall. Nese sends Metalik shoulder first into the ring post. Metalik with a super kick and Metalik Driver for a near fall. Nese with an uppercut to stop Metalik on the turnbuckles. Nese with a chop and then he sets for a superplex but Metalik crotches Nese. Metalik with a rana to Nese and then he goes up top for a springboard elbow drop for the three count.

Winner: Gran Metalik

After the match, Kalisto and Lince Dorado celebrate in the ring with Metalik.

We take a look back at what happened with Hideo Itami last week and the return of Mustafa Ali.

Drake Maverick tells the referee that he will take care of things if they get out of control.

Mustafa Ali shows up and he mentions that he was hoping Drake was in his AOP gear.

Drake says that he is concerned about Ali going into the ring before he was cleared. Ali says he is fine and he does not want to see someone get taken advantage. Drake tells Ali he cannot enter a 205 Live ring until he says so.

We go to commercial.

Noam Dar versus Bryan Kelly

Before the match starts, Lio Rush makes his way to the ring.

They lock up and Dar works on the arm and applies a side head lock. Dar with a shoulder tackle and he trips Kelly. Kelly misses a cross body when Dar ducks. Dar with knees and then he hip tosses Kelly into the ropes. Kelly drops Dar on the top rope and Kelly punches Dar. Kelly with an arm bar. Dar runs into an uppercut but Kelly misses a move off the turnbuckles. Dar with an uppercut and he hits a running back elbow and back drop. Dar with a kick to the knee and then Dar with a running kick for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

After the match, Rush gets on the announce table and applauds Dar’s performance.

Dar invites Rush into the ring.

Cedric Alexander walks in the back and he is stopped by Drake Maverick.

Drake says that he knows about his history with Drew but he wants Cedric to keep this professional because he will get involved if things get out of hand.

We go to commercial.

We are back and next week Gran Metalik faces Buddy Murphy.

Cedric Alexander makes his way to the ring and he is dressed for action.

Cedric says he is a man of few words. He says you know why he is out here. If Drew Gulak has any sends of integrity, he will come to the ring to finish this.

Instead of Drew Gulak, TJP makes his way to the stage.

TJ says he is not surprised that Gulak isn’t out here because he is an opportunist. TJ says he is tired of waiting in line for an opportunity. TJ says if Cedric wants a fight, he will oblige and then he will beat Cedric to give him a title match.

TJ makes his way into the ring but he is interrupted by Drake Maverick’s music.

Drake says there is only one person who makes the matches on 205 Live and it is him. This isn’t normally what he does, but he is a shameless promoter and this is a marquee match up. Why not have this match right now.

Cedric Alexander versus TJP in a Non Title Match

TJP with a wrist lock but Alexander with a reversal and take down. Alexander with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. TJP with a kip up and Alexander with a leg trip. TJP with a waist lock and Cedric with an elbow. Alexander with a Neuralizer but TJP rolls to the floor. Alexander sets for a suicide dive and he hits it. Alexander chops TJP and sends him onto the apron. TJP with a shoulder and DDT onto the apron.

TJP with a slingshot into an octopus. Alexander with a Stretch Muffler but TJP with a rollup for a near fall. Alexander with a handstand head scissors and drop kick that sends TJP to the floor. Alexander sends TJP back into the ring but TJP rolls to the far apron. Alexander with a kick when he avoids a shoulder from TJP. TJP with an octopus in the ropes. TJP with kicks and he sends Cedric shoulder first into the turnbuckles. TJP works on the shoulder in the corner. TJP with a European uppercut but Alexander with a forearm and chops. TJP with kicks to the head but Alexander with a drop kick to the knee that sends TJP into the turnbuckles.

Alexander with an enzuigiri and a slingshot flatliner for a near fall. Alexander runs into a round kick but Alexander goes for a Michinoku Driver but TJP counters with a rollup for a near fall. TJP tries to hyper-extend the arm. TJP with a suplex into a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. TJP with an elbow to the back of the neck. TJP with a springboard cross body. Alexander with a springboard clothesline but both men are down. Alexander with a boot to the head followed by clotheslines. Alexander with a back elbow and brainbuster gutbuster for a near fall.

Alexander goes for the Lumbar Check but TJP blocks it. TJP with a kumura and body scissors. Alexander with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Alexander goes to the apron but TJP catches him and applies a Fujiwara Arm Bar. Alexander rolls through but TJP with a knee bar. Alexander tries to get to the ropes and he succeeds. Alexander with a forearm but TJP with kicks. Alexander with more forearms and TJP goes for a cross arm breaker but Alexander gets a near fall.

Alexander with a Lumbar Check for the three count.

Winner: Cedric Alexander

After the match, Drew Gulak’s music plays and Drew makes his way to the ring.

Drew congratulates Cedric on another groundbreaking performance from the Age of Alexander. Did you say you wanted to finish things from Brooklyn. Drew says he is wearing his trunks and humble boots so he accepts the challenge.

Jack Gallagher attacks Cedric from behind but Cedric takes care of Jack. Gulak with a clothesline and the he applies the GuLock.

Drake sends Drew and Jack to the back.
