WWE 205 Live Results - August 21, 2018

Drake Maverick starts things off by talking about Cedric Alexander’s victory over Drew Gulak at SummerSlam.  He says both represented 205 Live well.  Tonight, Noam Dar and TJP will meet in the rubber match of their feud.  We will have Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado face Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese in a Tornado Tag Match.

We are in Brooklyn, New York and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.

TJP says this match will be over quickly so he can get back to enjoying the greatest city on Earth, Los Angeles.  Last time he was in the ring with Noam Dar, he played the best dodge against the greatest technical wrestler.  Since he uses a knee bar, there was no dispute that Dar would be limping after that match.  Tonight, Noam will not be walking out because this will be squeamish.

Match Number One:  TJP vs. Noam Dar

They lock up and Dar backs TJP into the ropes and Dar with a break.  TJP goes to the floor instead of locking up and TJP has more to say.  He says this is as good a time as any for him to announce someone special tonight.  He introduces Wale, who is at the announce table.  Dar with a baseball slide to TJP.  Dar sends TJP into the ring steps and then into the announce table.  Dar with a back drop driver onto the apron.  Dar with knees to the midsection and then he sends TJ into the ropes.  Dar with a step over hammer lock and then he connects with forearms in the corner.

Drew Gulak comments on his match on Sunday.  Cedric Alexander did not prove he was the better man or the best cruiserweight.  Drew says he is the best.  Cedric threw a hail mary and got lucky.  Drew says that Cedric should give him a rematch.

Drake Maverick is asked about the request for a rematch.  Drake says he makes the matches.  Drew has a tremendous track record and he is in line for a title match, but there are many others.  Drew’s request is denied.

Match Number Two:  Akira Tozawa vs. Colin Delaney

Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher attack Delaney and then they go after Tozawa.  Drew Gulak joins them and he takes the mic.

Drew says he tried to be reasonable, but until he gets his rematch, there will be no more peace on 205 Live.  Drew says he is not surprised that Cedric allowed Big Daddy Drake Maverick to do the talking for you because you are scared.  Drew tells Cedric to come out to answer his challenge.

Cedric Alexander comes out to the stage.  Cedric says that Drew likes to say that he is scared but you are surrounded by Thing 1 and Thing 2.  If they leave the ring, he will come down to shut you up.

Drake Maverick comes out to tell Cedric that this is not happening.

Drew quotes Green Eggs and Ham and then he sarcastically talks about the Age of Alexander.  What is the Age of Alexander?  Drew asks if that is the best that he’s got?  Drew says he is for a better 205 Live.  Drew says the Age of Alexander absolutely sucks.  Drew wants to know when did Cedric become a choir boy.  Is Cedric afraid that Drake will put Cedric in time out?

Drew tells Brian and Jack to leave the ring and Cedric makes his way to the ring but the officials and Drake hold Cedric back.

Drew says he knows why Cedric is scared but Cedric gets into the ring and Drew leaves the ring and leaves through the crowd.

Cedric wants to know where Drew is going.
