Brock Lesnar is one step closer to a UFC return, as he has now been re-entered into the USADA testing pool.
Following Lesnar’s appearance at this weekend’s UFC 226 event, USADA issued the following statement to MMAFighting.com confirming he has been re-entered into the drug testing pool:
“After receiving notice of his intent to compete in the UFC, USADA re-entered Brock Lesnar to the testing pool on July 3. With six months and four days remaining on his period of ineligibility, Lesnar will be able to compete on or after January 8, 2019, should he remain in compliance with the UFC Anti-Doping Policy.”
Lesnar and Daniel Cormier had a face off after the event, and UFC’s Dana White said he would like Cormier’s next title defense to be against Lesnar, who is also the current WWE Universal Champion.
