WWE 205 Live Results – June 19, 2018

We start off with a look back at the match between Buddy Murphy and Mustafa Ali that was interrupted by Hideo Itami.  We see what led to tonight’s Triple Threat Match.

We see the Lucha House Party and they talk about how Kendrick and Gulak are still complaining about last week.  They show Penelope Gulak.

Match Number One:  Drew Gulak (with Brian Kendrick) vs. Lince Dorado (with Gran Metalik and Kalisto)

They lock up and Gulak with a hip lock take down into a side head lock.  Dorado with a wrist lock and Gulak with a reversal into a hammer lock.  Dorado with a flying mare but Gulak with a shoulder tackle for a near fall.  Gulak with a wrist lock into a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock.  Gulak gets a near fall when Dorado bridges.  Dorado with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Dorado with a rollup for a near fall.  Gulak with a head butt to the midsection.  Gulak with punches.  Dorado kicks Gulak and hits a head scissors take down followed by a quebrada for a near fall.  Dorado with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Gulak with a punch but Dorado goes to the ropes for an arm drag but Gulak crotches Dorado and pushes him to the floor.  Gulak goes to the floor and he sends Dorado back into the ring.

Gulak rakes the eyes and then he pulls Dorado into the corner and he kicks Dorado.  Gulak with a knee to the midsection.  Dorado with forearms and punches.  The referee warns Dorado but Dorado with more punches.  Gulak sends Dorado through the ropes and to the floor.  Gulak goes to the floor and he points at Penelope.  Gulak asks if he thinks this is a joke.  Drew tells Dorado he is going to pay.  Gulak with a surfboard.  Gulak with a rear chin lock.  Dorado with a punch and Gulak with a forearm to the back.  Drew with an Irish whip but both men bump heads and go down.

Dorado with punches and a drop kick.  Dorado with another drop kick.  Dorado grabs Drew by the hair and then he punches Drew.  Dorado with a step over spinning heel kick.  Gulak sends Dorado to the apron and Dorado with an enzuigiri and cross body for a near fall.  Gulak with a leg sweep and a near fall.  Drew with a knee but Dorado hits the handspring cutter.  Kendrick puts Gulak’s leg on the rope to stop the count.  Kendrick pulls Dorado into the ropes when the referee has to deal with Kalisto and Metalik.  Gulak with the GuLock and Dorado taps out.

Winner:  Drew Gulak

Drake Maverick gives the referee his instructions for the Triple Threat Match.

Hideo Itami stops by and Drake says he wants to talk to Itami about what he did a few weeks ago.  He tells Itami that if he has a problem to talk to him in his office.  Itami says they will not have any problems as long as Drake shows him respect.  Drake says respect goes both ways.  Drake reminds Itami about his opponents tonight.  Drake tells Itami that he gets to prove that he belongs in the main event and use the most of this opportunity.

We see Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese in the locker room as we go to commercial.

We are back and TJP makes his way to the ring and he says this is another week that his talents have been wasted.  He says Drake needs to do what is best for 205 Live and let the man who carried this division get some high profile matches and main events.  Instead, he gets this.  This guy isn’t even a name he wants to add to his record.  It is someone who wants to add TJP’s name to his record.  Drake would rather set him up to fail than succeed.

TJP asks his opponent his name and he pulls the mic away.  He asks him if he deserves to be in the ring with the best technical wrestler in the game or are you some guy from Tostito, Ohio pathetic enough to be pulled off the scrap heap.

TJP is knocked down but TJP kicks his opponent and applies a knee bar.  His opponent taps out while other referees come to the ring to try to get TJP off of his opponent.

We see Mustafa Ali in the back and we see Cedric Alexander wishing him luck.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we see that Lio Rush has officially signed with 205 Live and he will make his debut next week.

We will have a six man elimination tag match next week with the Lucha House Party against Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and Brian Kendrick.

Match Number Two: Mustafa Ali vs. Buddy Murphy vs. Hideo Itami

All three men circle each other until Murphy and Ali focus on Itami.  Itami goes to the floor and Murphy with punches on the floor.  Ali with a plancha onto Murphy and Itami on the floor.  Ali with punches to Itami and then he punches him in the corner.  Murphy pulls Ali out of the corner to punch and kick Itami.  Murphy punches Ali and Itami chops Murphy.  Murphy with more kicks to Itami.

Murphy and Ali chop each other.  Ali with a head scissors to Murphy and then he runs into a boot from Murphy.  Murphy is back dropped over the top rope to the floor by Ali.  Itami with a knee to stop a dive by Ali and Itami gets a near fall.  Itami with a reverse chin lock.  Ali with punches but Itami with a back body drop to Ali and then he kicks Murphy off the apron before getting a near fall on Ali.

Itami kicks Ali in the back.  Itami with a kick to the back.  Itami with more kicks to Ali but Murphy returns to the ring and he snap mares Itami and kicks him in the back.  Itami with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Murphy takes his turn and snap mares Itami and kicks him in the back.  Now Itami goes for round two.  Murphy with round three.  Itami slaps Murphy and it staggers him.  Murphy slaps back.  Murphy with a punch but Itami with a knee to the midsection followed by kicks to the back.  Ali  with a belly-to-back into a kick to the back.  Murphy with a clothesline that flips Ali.

Murphy with a German suplex to Ali for a near fall.  Murphy kicks Ali in the head and then taunts him.  Murphy sends Ali into Itami on the apron to send Hideo to the floor.  Ali with a rollup on Murphy for a near fall.  Murphy with a sleeper on Ali.  Itami returns to the ring and he applies a sleeper on Murphy but Buddy backs Itami into the turnbuckles to escape the hold.  Murphy wtih an elbow.  Ali with a jawbreaker to Murphy.  Itami runs into a boot from Ali.  Ali with an enzuigiri to Murphy.  Ali goes for the rolling X Factor on Murphy but Murphy sends him over his head.  Ali with an X Factor to Itami.

Ali with a reverse rana and tornado DDT to Murphy for a near fall.  Ali goes up top but Itami crotches Ali.  Itami goes to the turnbuckles for a belly-to-back superplex but Ali blocks it.  Murphy comes under and he grabs Itami.  Itami kicks Murphy to stop him.  Itami goes for a belly-to-belly superplex but Ali lands on his feet.  Buddy with a DDT on Itami for a near fall.  All three men get back to their feet.  Murphy with a forearm and elbow.  Ali with forearms.  Itami with forearms.  Murphy with strikes and a back heel kick to Itami.  Itami fires back.  Itami with a back fist to Ali.  Ali with a super kick to Murphy.  Ali goes for a moonsault but Itami with a kick.

All three men are down again.  Itami charges into the corner and he blocks an enzuigiri from Ali.  Murphy with a power bomb to Itami for a near fall.  Murphy with a knee to the head and then Ali with a round kick to Murphy.  Murphy and Itami are down on the mat.  Ali goes up top and he hits a 450 splash onto Murphy and Itami.  Murphy falls to the floor and he pulls Ali to the floor on the cover.

Murphy sends Ali into the announce table.  Murphy pulls off the cover to the announce table and then he pushes things to the side.  Murphy gets on the announce table and Ali with a leg sweep.  Murphy gets back up and Ali leaps to the announce table and hits a Spanish Fly onto the floor.  Ali struggles to get back into the ring.  Murphy is down on the floor and Itami hits a hesitation drop kick on Ali.  Itami gets a near fall.  Itami exposes the bottom turnbuckle and Ali with a rollup.  Itami sends Ali into the turnbuckles.  Itami with a hesitation drop kick for the three count.

Winner:  Hideo Itami
