During the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio, Mike Johnson was asked about rumors of WWE dropping 205 Live programming and replacing it with a new weekly United Kingdom show (We’ve never seen these reports).
Johnson confirmed that WWE doesn’t have any plans to cancel 205 Live and explained why.
“I have not heard that. They do not want the UK show to replace 205 Live. They want it to be [UK show] another stand alone just like what NXT is and 205 Live.”
“I don’t believe that they are going to shut it down [205 Live]. If they wanted to kill it, they would have done so after the Enzo situation. Triple H has said so himself that the numbers are up. I tend to believe him. He’s not going to lie in a public setting.”
