There was a lot of commotion on social media yesterday & earlier today after a Reddit user shared a post from WWE’s official website that reported Bobby Lashley’s release from the company. The article didn’t feature a publish date so several individuals online believed that Lashley had left the company once again.
Fans also looked at Lashley’s Twitter account and realized that he hasn’t tweeted since May 1st, also hinting that he may be done with the company.
We can confirm that Lashley has not be released from WWE. What happened was that someone shared the original article that WWE published back on October 16th, 2007 when Lashley left the company for the first time. If you do a Google search for “wwe.com bobby lashley released”, you can clearly see that this is the same article that the Reddit user shared.
