– It was announced that the upcoming Impact Wrestling Slammiversary PPV on July 22nd will take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
– According to PWInsider.com, the original plan for Impact Wrestling’s Redemption PPV main event was for Alberto El Patron to defeat Austin Aries for the Impact World Title. With El Patron being fired, the match was changed to Aries defending the title against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix. Pentagon Jr. ended up winning the world title at the event by pinning Aries.
