According to Sports Illustrated‘s Justin Barrasso, one segment that was initially planned for Wrestlemania 34 would have seen The Rock involved in a musical segment with Elias.
Barrasso notes the segment was scrapped due to WWE not being able to get a commitment from The Rock; the segment would have seen Elias interact with The Rock, Jeff Jarrett and a few other names, with Rock being the focal point with his famed ‘Rock Concert’ making a return.
It was noted that unless talks picked up again, The Rock is not expected to be a part of Wrestlemania this year.
