According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, two sources close to WWE confirmed that Vince McMahon is strongly considering using a big name as Braun Strowman’s partner for the Tag Team Championship Match against The Bar.
Barrasso reports that Rey Mysterio is being considered as a potential option if Mysterio is cleared to return. Mysterio is currently out with a minor bicep injury, but could return and work Wrestlemania if healthy. It was noted that Mysterio would likely sign a short-term deal if he did return, and the idea of the match would be the ‘biggest’ (Braun) and the ‘smallest’ (Rey) working together.
