– WWE may be changing the United States Championship match for next month’s Fastlane event.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the Bobby Roode’s United States Championship title defense against Randy Orton at Fastlane could possibly change. The idea is that they will added Jinder Mahal into the mix, making the match a three-way for the championship.
– The company appears to be building towards Braun Strowman vs. The Miz at WrestleMania this year, according to Dave Meltzer.
Meltzer explained that the real story from the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday will be the set up to Strowman vs. Miz coming out of that match. Meltzer didn’t elaborate any further and didn’t mentioned if the Intercontinental title will be on the line or the company has any actual plans to put the strap on Strowman.
There was previous speculation that the company could be booking The Miz vs. Finn Balor at WrestleMania, but that no longer appears to be the plan.
