Rumor Killer on Major Title Change and Elimination Chamber PPV

As noted, there has been an image floating around the internet depicting a possible lineup for a WWE Universal Championship match at next month’s Elimination Chamber, but the image is a fake.

The image was reported to be from a SuperSport TV (South Africa) broadcast ad showing Braun Strowman as WWE Universal Champion, who would be facing Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Cesaro and Big Cass. This would of course mean Big Cass would have to be cleared to return from injury at this time, and Strowman would have won the Universal Championship.

The original image is actually from a YouTube video featuring ‘Elimination Chamber fantasy matchups’, and it was photoshopped to look like a broadcast TV screenshot. The original video from which the fake ad was taken from was created back in August, and can be seen below:

The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is scheduled for February 25th in Las Vegas; no matches have been announced at this time.
