– According to PWInsider, Impact is looking to make the most out of Alberto El Patron’s return to the company at Bound for Glory. Some ideas that have been pitched are putting him in the main event with Johnny Impact and Eli Drake or making him the referee for that main event. Back in July, Alberto was indefinitely suspended from the company, and in August, stripped of the GFW Championship after an altercation with his fiancée and WWE Superstar, Paige, at the Orlando International Airport.
– PWInsider is also reporting Impact had some “recent negotiations” with Ricochet, who won the PWG Championship over Chuck Taylor last weekend. Impact is also looking to bring in Tessa Blanchard, who could begin with the company as soon as the post-PPV tapings begin.
