WWE RAW Opener:
Miz is in the ring with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. We see photos of what happened at the end of the Intercontinental Title match when Miz was able to retain the title. Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV. He says after last night’s victory, tonight is a night of celebration. They are in southern California. As soon as MizTV is over, he is going to drive to his home in the Hollywood Hills and he is going to slide into bed with his pregnant wife and talk about their unborn child, who will not be a loser like Kurt Angle’s. Miz brings out his guest, a man who had a historic victory over John Cena, Roman Reigns.
Miz asks the crowd if they are done cheering and booing for Roman. He apologizes for the crowd and welcomes him to the show. Roman says they like it loud.
Miz brings up Roman beating and retiring The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Then he has an equally impressive victory last night. John Cena said it was a passing of the torch. Miz asks Roman what it felt like to hear that from John Cena.
Roman says he respects John Cena now. John said a lot of stuff to him and he backed it up in the ring. John did it for 15 years and he held the fort down for 15 years. There is not another top guy who can say that and he respects John Cena. Roman says that is why he is proud to say that he beat John Cena last night. Roman says it was the biggest win of his entire life. Roman says Miz wasn’t the only one who was celebrating last night. Roman says he does not know why he is sitting in the ring with an idiot like Miz.
Miz rhetorically asks why would little ole Miz talk to THE GUY. Miz says THE GUY is the person in the ring with a title. Miz says he retained the most respected title in the WWE. Miz says he proved that Jason Jordan is a loser.
Roman says he has been in the ring with Miz and with Jason Jordan. Roman says that Jason is a thorougbred and Miz couldn’t beat Jordan by himself. Roman tells Curtis and Bo to go to the back and get him a beverage.
Miz says it is ironic to hear Roman talk about the MizTourage because you rode the coattails of two superstars. If the MizTourage was around five years ago, no one would have remembered the Shield. Miz asks if Roman knows what would have happened if the MizTourage faced the Shield.
Roman asks Miz if he was serious. Roman says they would have whooped y’all’s asses. Roman says they wouldn’t want that. Roman says Dean and Seth are doing their thing and he is doing his and that is to get the Universal Title. He says he wants Brock Lesnar.
Miz says that Roman comes on the show and insults the MizTourage and then he talks about another champion. What about the times you choked against Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar. You have never won the Universal Title but you act like you are better than everyone else. Miz says that since he came to Raw, he has carried that show. His title is the title to have and he says he will not be disrespected.
Roman says he is up for a fight. Miz says he was not talking about a fight and points out that he is wearing a suit. Miz says he has a pregnant wife at home so he is out of here. As Miz goes up the ramp, Kurt Angle’s music plays and he comes out to the stage.
Kurt tells Miz to tell Maryse he is going to be home late. Kurt says Miz will be facing Roman Reigns tonight. Kurt tells Curtis and Bo that they have match. He says Jeff Hardy might be injured but Matt wants to face Bo and Curtis, and his partner will be Jason Jordan. Fans cheer Angle’s announcements as his music starts back up. We go to commercial.
Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan vs. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
Back from the break and Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas wait as Matt Hardy makes his way out. Jeff Hardy is out with him in street clothes as the announcers talk about his upcoming shoulder surgery. Jason Jordan is out next to team with Matt.
Jordan starts off with Dallas, slamming him to the mat and working him over. Axel gets a knee from Jordan. Jordan turns right around and goes back to work on Dallas. Jordan takes Dallas to the corner and keeps control. Jordan with a Northern Lights suplex for a 2 count. Matt tags in for a double team and a 2 count. Matt with the leg sweep and more offense on Axel as he comes in. Matt drops legs and covers for a pin attempt on Axel. Matt keeps Axel grounded now. Matt ends up hitting the tornado DDT on Axel Dallas comes in but Jordan assists and the babyfaces clear the ring. Matt and Jason stand tall as we go back to commercial.
We come back from the break to see Axel applying a chin lock to Jordan. Jordan fights up and punches out, but Axel clubs him down. Axel scoop slams him and tags in Dallas. They drop knees on Jordan. Axel tags back in. Dallas drops a knee, and Axel follows up with a rolling neck snapper for a two count. During the commercial, Dallas came near Jeff Hardy, so Jordan sent him into the barricade. Axel then hit Jordan with a diving clothesline off the apron. Back to live action, Dallas is in the ring and beating on Jordan in the corner. Axel tags in, and Dallas sends Jordan into Axel’s knee for a near fall. Axel applies a chin lock, but Jordan starts to fight up. Axel tries to control him with a front facelock, but Jordan pushes him off. Axel sends him into the ropes, but he holds on. Axel charges, but Jordan counters by sending him out of the ring.
Hardy and Dallas are tagged in. Hardy punches away at him and starts bouncing him wildly off the turnbuckles. Jordan’s cheek was busted open. Hardy clotheslines Dallas in the corner and follows up with a running bulldog for a two count. Hardy comes off the second rope with an elbow to the back of the neck. Hardy catches him with a neckbreaker for a near fall. Hardy signals for the Twist of Fate, but Dallas rolls him up for a two count. Hardy quickly pops up and hits a Side Effect, but Axel breaks it up. Jordan runs in and puts Axel in the corner. Jordan then sends Dallas into Axel and shoulders them both. Jordan then hits Axel with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Hardy then drops Dallas with a Twist of Fate for the win.
Winners: Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan
After the match, Jordan and Matt celebrate while Jeff joins them for the celebration as we go to replays.

Elias vs. Apollo Crews w/ Titus O’Neil
They lock up and neither man can get an advantage. They tussle into the corner and shove each other. Elias wrenches the arm, but Crews turns it around on him. Crews hooks a side headlock and takes him down. Elias tries to whip him off, but Crews keeps the headlock applied before taking him back down. Elias fights up and backs him into the ropes. Elias whips him to the corner, but Crews slingshots over him and backflips before hitting a dropkick. Crews kicks him in the head and takes him down with a diving clothesline before kipping up. Crews puts him on the apron and kicks him to the floor. An “Apollo” chant picks up. Crews then hits a plancha before chest bumping Titus O’Neil. Elias kicks O’Neil in the knee. Crews quickly beat on Elias and puts him in the ring before checking on O’Neil. Crews gets in the ring, but Elias immediately big boots him. Elias follows up with Drift Away for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Elias
O’Neil gets in the ring and powers Elias into the corner before punching him down. Elias quickly gets out of the ring and scurries up the ramp. O’Neil is furious and rubs his knee.

Backstage:
We are back and Finn Balor is in the interview area. He is asked about what he has to say to Bray. Finn thanks Bray for doubting him as a man. He thanks Bray for pushing him to the limit to conger his inner strength. He wants to thank Bray for having him know what he can do. He asks Bray to have humility for him and Goldust as well as the others he has tormented. Finn is asked what is next and he says he is gunning for the Universal title.
In the Arena:
Curt Hawkins is in the ring and September 25, 2017 will be a night you will remember. He says he is tired of being the guy with the 118 match losing streak and that ends tonight. The music hits and out comes his opponent – Braun Strowman.
Hawkins immediately retreats to the crowd and wants none of Strowman. Braun leaves the ring and chases Hawkins through the crowd, to the production area. Hawkins strikes Braun but it does nothing. Braun grabs Hawkins and chokeslams him through a table that’s in the crowd near production. Braun tosses Hawkins onto the stage now.
Braun stalks Hawkins on the stage as Hawkins pleads. Braun scoops Hawkins and nails the big running powerslam through the LED board. The crowd pops big. Braun marches back to the ring and grabs a mic. Strowman wants a worthy challenger and isn’t leaving the ring until he gets one. Braun waits and the music finally hits – out comes RAW Tag Team Champion Dean Ambrose. Ambrose stares Braun down as we go back to commercial.
Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose
Dean avoids Braun at the start of the match and Dean with punches and chops until Braun pushes him down. Braun with a hard Irish whip. Braun with a punch to the injured shoulder and then he wraps the injured arm in the ropes. Braun puts Dean on the turnbuckles and connects with an uppercut. Braun runs Dean into the turnbuckles. Dean with a slap to Braun but it has no impact. Braun with a forearm across the chest. Dean with a cross body but Braun catches Dean. Dean with a sleeper but Braun backs into the corner to get out of the hold. Braun with a splash to Dean.
Braun punches Dean and Dean bounces off the ropes. Braun with a head butt and Dean with a punch. Braun with another head butt and Dean falls to the mat. Braun pulls Dean’s arm back. Braun with an Irish whip but Dean gets his feet up in the corner. Dean with punches and chops but Braun with a shoulder tackle that sends Dean through the ropes to the floor. Braun follows Dean to the floor. Braun sends Dean into the ringside barrier. Dean sends Strowman into the ring post.
Dean returns to the ring and he connects with forearms and kicks to Strowman. Dean goes to the turnbuckles to punch Braun. Braun charges at Dean but Dean drops down and Braun goes to the floor. Dean with a suicide dive but Strowman catches Dean. Dean counters with a tornado DDT. Dean goes back into the ring and the referee starts his count. Braun gets back into the ring and Dean kicks Braun and hits a running boot for a near fall.
Dean with clotheslines to Braun. Dean avoids a choke slam and then Dean moves when Braun charges into the corner. Braun hits the ring post shoulder first. Braun catches Dean when Dean goes for the elbow to the chest. Braun with a power slam for the three count.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Backstage:
Kurt Angle tells the referee to watch the MizTourage and Enzo Amore enters the office. Kurt congratulates Enzo on his victory. Enzo says he is in a celebratory mood and he says what could be bigger than a celebratory broughaha. Kurt says Enzo’s win does not deserve a celebration. Enzo wants to know why he should be denied a celebration. Kurt asks Enzo if that is his first championship and he offers Enzo some advice but enzo refuses it.
– Alexa Bliss walks in the back as we go to commercial.
Backstage:
We are back and Dean Ambrose is in the locker room and he is checking himself after that match. Seth Rollins gives Dean some ice and Seth tells Dean to stop the self-destructive behavior. Seth tells Dean what he does has to be for the team. Seth reminds Dean about his match against Sheamus and he tells Dean to let him know if he is going to pick a fight with Braun.
Dean tells Seth he needs to stop thinking and be less predictable. Seth says that Dean will not predict what he is going to say because he is going to ask Kurt Angle for a match next week against Braun Strowman. Seth says he is going to make Sheamus and Cesaro look alike after his match.
In the Arena:
Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring.
Alexa says she knows that they have had issues in the past and have not seen each other eye to eye, but she says that she feels they are all friends. You have to be honest with your friends and Alexa says she needs to tell everyone the truth. Alexa says she is disappointed in each of you. Alexa reminds us that she beat four women last night and she woke up this morning and she says she was expecting congratulation or cute memes about her victory, but No. It was about nonsense and gossip. Everyone was wondering about Sasha and Bayley or you were talking about Asuka’s debut at TLC.
Alexa says you are so fascinated with what could happen tomorrow that you forget that you are in the presence of a goddess now. Alexa says she does not have to prove anything because she cleaned out the Women’s Division.
Mickie James makes her way to the ring. Mickie asks if Alexa cleaned out the women’s division because she was not in that match last night. You didn’t beat her.
Alexa starts to talk but she is interrupted by Mickie and Mickie brings up what Alexa said on Raw Talk. Alexa says she respects Mickie and she reminds Mickie that she brought her back to WWE. Alexa says that Mickie was one of her favorites growing up. Mickie was in her Top 8 on MySpace when Mickie and MySpace were relevant. Mickie wants to know if Alexa is scared and she tells Alexa to say it.
Alexa says that she still has something to give to the WWE. She has a few fans who will say ‘You still got it.’ Alexa says it is so great that her demographic has someone to represent her. In the ring, she respects Mickie, but she doesn’t want to see Mickie break a hip.
Mickie says Alexa is so genuine. She calls Alexa a ‘little girl’ and she says that the last thing she needs is Alexa to run through her accolades and tell her what she can do. Mickie reminds Alexa she is a six time champion and she has broken down barriers in the WWE before Alexa was wearing a training bra. Mickie wants Alexa to repeat what she said on Raw Talk, but say it to her face.
Alexa hems and haws but Mickie tells her to say it or get out of the ring. Mickie says this ring is no place for a coward. Alexa tells Mickie that she is an old lady. Mickie slaps Alexa and then kicks Alexa. Alexa rolls to the floor.
– We go to commercial with an Asuka is Coming video package.
Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus
Back from the break and out comes RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins. Sheamus is out next with Cesaro, who is wearing a suit.
The bell rings and Sheamus takes it to the corner and unloads. Rollins sends Sheamus to the floor after he runs into the ring post, and goes for the dive into the barrier. Rollins sends Sheamus back into the ring and smiles at Cesaro. Rollins springboards in but Sheamus catches him in mid-air with an Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus ends up taking control and working on the knee of Rollins, applying the Stretch Muffler. Sheamus goes on with a big sitdown powerbomb for another pin attempt. Sheamus with the Cloverleaf submission now.
The hold is broken but Sheamus comes back with more offense. Sheamus delivers a big kick to the face from the apron and covers for a 2 count. Sheamus keeps control and stands tall to pose as fans boo. Sheamus readies for the Brogue Kick but Rollins ducks it. Sheamus drops Rollins and goes to the top. Rollins catches Sheamus on the way down and then connects with a knee to the face for the pin.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Rollins recovers as Cesaro stares at him from the floor. We go to replays. Rollins raises the title as Cesaro helps Sheamus up the ramp.

Backstage:
Finn Bálor is walking backstage when he sees Goldust. Bálor calls him “Goldy.” Goldust says he knows he’s an extraordinary man, but what gives him the right to take shots at his expense. Goldust is not a victory. He didn’t ask for Bálor’s help and didn’t need it. Goldust can do it all by himself. Bálor says he has nothing but respect for him and considers him a friend. Bálor apologizes for offending him in any way. Goldust says maybe Bálor is right and apologizes. Goldust then attacks Bálor and slams him onto a steel structure. Goldust quotes The Godfather II and tells him to keep his friends close, but his enemies closer.
– We have a video feature for the Roman Reigns versus John Cena match from No Mercy. We see John’s comments about Roman from Raw Talk about how he wanted to see Roman back up what he said and that he was beaten by the better man. He talks about what is next for Roman and that it is up to him. We see John breaking down while on Raw Talk. He talks about his time in WWE and he wonders how much longer he has. He says he is not done, but he cannot go at this pace any more. John talks about how he thinks Roman can take it to the next level. Back to commercial.
Roman Reigns vs. Miz in a Non Title Match
Miz tells Roman to calm down and that they don’t need this and they can walk away. Miz offers his hand and Roman shakes it but he does not let go. Miz misses a punch and Roman with a punch to force Miz to the floor. Miz returns to the ring and then goes back to the floor when Roman sees him. Roman goes to the floor to stare at Curtis and Bo. Miz with a side head lock but Roman with a reversal into a side head lock of his own. Miz with forearms and he pulls Roman’s hair to send him off the ropes. Roman with a shoulder tackle. Bo grabs Roman and drops him on the top rope and Miz with boots for a near fall.
Miz with a reverse chin lock. Roman powers out of the hold and he punches Miz. Miz sends Roman to the floor and Axel and Bo send Roman’s back into the ringside barrier. Miz brings Roman back into the ring and gets a near fall. Miz with a running drop kick into the corner and then he hits a second one. Reigns with a Samoan drop for a near fall but Reigns holds his back after Miz kicks out.
Reigns with clotheslines and then he hits a flying clothesline. Reigns with NeverEnding Story in the corner and follows with a running boot to the head. Reigns looks around and sets for the Superman punch. Axel distracts Roman and Miz with an Awesome Clothesline. Miz with kicks to the chest. Roman blocks a running round kick and Roman gets Miz up but Miz gets to his feet. Roman holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt. Roman with a Superman punch to Miz and then he punches Axel and Dallas.
Miz goes to the floor and Reigns follows. Miz runs away and Roman follows at a brisk pace and he hits the broad jump drop kick to Axel and Dallas. Miz with a kick and DDT for a near fall. Miz sets for the Skull Crushing Finale but Roman with a snap mare and spear for the three count.
Winner: Roman Reigns
After the match, The Miztourage attacks Reigns from behind and stomps away at him. They hold Reigns up for Miz to hit a Skull Crushing Finale, but Reigns fights them off. Reigns clears the ring of The Miztourage before hitting Miz with a Superman Punch. The crowd boos him loudly. Reigns goes for a powerbomb on The Miz, but The Miztourage cracks him in the back with a steel chair. They assault him with two chairs and slam them into his ribs. They then hold Reigns up for Miz to hit the Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz stands tall with The Miztourage.
They leave the ring before Miz notices Reigns getting up. Miz and The Miztourage quickly charge the ring, and Miz cracks him in the midsection and the back with the steel chair. The Miztourage gets Reigns to his feet, and Miz hits a Skull Crushing Finale on the steel chair! Miz grabs another chair and slams it off Reigns’ back. Miz holds out his fist, and he and The Miztourage do The Shield’s old triple fist bump!
– Finn Balor walks in the back and he is not in a good mood, but he will face Goldust. We go to commercial.
Finn Balor vs. Goldust
Balor with punches but Goldust with a knee. Goldust is sent over the top rope to the floor. Balor with a running drop kick to send Goldust into the ringside barrier. Balor sends Goldust into the ringside barrier a few more times. Balor sends Goldust back into the ring and Goldust kicks Balor and sends him into the ring post. Goldust sends Balor into the ringside barrier and then hot shots him on the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.
We are back and Goldust with a waist lock. Balor with punches to Goldust to get out of the hold. Balor with a kick and chop in the corner. Balor with an Irish whip but Goldust with an elbow. Goldust with an Irish whip and Balor floats over but Goldust with a shot to the midsection and a spinebuster for a near fall. Balor goes for 1916 but he cannot get Goldust up. Balor with a Pele Kick and a leg sweep to Goldust.
Balor with Slingblade and a running drop kick into the turnbuckles. Balor goes up top for the Coup de Grace and Balor hits it and gets the three count.
Winner: Finn Balor
After the match, Bray’s graphic flashes on the screen and he has the child singing ‘He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands’. We go to commercial.
Backstage:
We are back with a look back at the Women’s Title Match from No Mercy.
Bayley is in the back holding her shoulder and Sasha shows up. Bayley asks Sasha if she got her text and Sasha apologizes for not replying. Bayley reminds Sasha it was every woman for herself. Sasha says she was this close to winning. Bayley says Sasha wasn’t the only one. Sasha tells them they need to focus on Emma and Nia Jax. Bayley says for the past month, she has been playing the sound of her shoulder popping out of the socket. She sees Nia’s face laughing at her. Bayley says she will make Nia Jax feel her pain.
Backstage:
Kurt Angle walks in the back and he is on his phone and Enzo stops him. Enzo says he has been getting serious vibes that people are jealous. Enzo says he will need a no contact clause. If Neville or the other cruiserweights touch him, they will forfeit any title matches. Kurt tells Enzo he is annoying as hell and he has his request.
Emma and Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley
Back to the ring and out comes Nia Jax. We go to commercial.
Bayley will start against Nia Jax. Bayley kicks her before laying in some forearms. Jax simply blocks one and attacks the shoulder before avalanching her in the corner. Jax goes for a Samoan Drop, but Banks pulls her off. Jax knocks Banks to the floor before avalanching Bayley. Jax then sends Bayley into Banks, and they crash to ringside. We go to another commercial.
We are back and Emma with a full nelson on Bayley and then she keeps Bayley from making the tag and connects with a clothesline for a near fall. Nia tags in and Bayley with punches but Bayley escapes a slam. Nia kicks Bayley and applies a top wrist lock. Bayley with elbows but Nia with a leg drop to the injured arm. Nia gets a near fall. Emma tags in and she kicks Bayley. Bayley with a kick but Emma stops her. Emma is kicked into the corner and Sasha tags in and hits clotheslines and a drop kick.
Sasha with a head scissors and a forearm to Nia on the apron. Sasha with a running double knee strike in the corner and then Sasha gets a near fall. Bayley goes after Nia but Nia sends her to the floor. Sasha drop kicks Nia to the floor. Bayley comes off the apron and Nia catches her. Sasha with a cross body to Nia and then Nia is sent into the ring post. Emma with an inside cradle for a near fall.
Emma with a punch and she tries for a slam but Emma goes for an O’Connor Roll and Sasha holds on to the ropes. Bayley tags in. Sasha with a boot to Emma and then Bayley leaps over Emma as she comes off the turnbuckles. Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.
Winners: Sasha Banks and Bayley

We are back and Enzo Amore makes his way to the ring for his celebration.
Enzo says it was all a dream and then that dream became a reality. Enzo says he knows that everyone wants to hear about his night, but he will talk about his morning. He woke up and he turned over and saw the most beautiful woman he laid his eyes on in his life. Enzo says he started reflecting on the past couple months. There has been a lot more than a couple haters. He says he has dealt with scrutiny. He says he has eaten some humble pie, but everyone is jealous. Just like his former tag team partner. The last time he saw him, he was hobbling and crying in Brooklyn.
He said that Enzo was holding him back but looking at your knee and this title, Enzo says he was holding him up.
Enzo says those You Can’t Wrestle Chants were said to John Cena, Batista, and The Rock. At the end of the day, he really did it. In order to celebrate his greatness.
There is a drumroll and he shows a Certified G shirt and he says it needs to be put in the rafters.
Enzo says he did what was impossible for the other Cruiserweights. He made 205 Live relevant.
The theme song for 205 Live plays and the Cruiserweights come out to the stage.
Enzo says he sees a bunch of haters. He says that Rich Swann looks so small. He asks if he was the man who danced his way to the championship and then danced his way to being a nobody. He talks about Cedric Alexander and calls him the man charisma forgot. He says he likes Gran Metalik but says he has nerve to come out like that because he weighs more than 205. Enzo comments on Drew’s attire.
Neville’s music plays and he comes out.
Neville walks like he is in a daze. Enzo says that Neville is fashionably late. He asks Neville where is his crown and Enzo says it is on the shoulder of a real man. Enzo says he can see the pain in Neville’s eyes and he says the truth hurts.
Neville tells Enzo he is right. The truth is brutal. The truth is that you are such an unbearable toxic individual that you have alienated everyone that you have come in contact with. Neville says you arrived on Monday Night Raw to much fanfare and two short years later, you are dumped on their door like an unwanted slug because no one wanted you.
If it was left to him, he would have left Enzo to rot. It was the gentlemen behind him, the so called nobodies who insisted that you have an opportunity. Is this how you repay them?
Enzo says he repays them but putting eyes on 205 Live to make them stars.
Neville says that Enzo is a disgrace and you have made a joke out of them, this division, and out of his Cruiserweight Title. When you kicked him where the sun doesn’t shine, you made a joke out of him. Now, on behalf of the entire cruiserweight division, Enzo Amore, Neville says he is here to end you.
Neville goes to the ring and Enzo tells him to stay back. Enzo says that Neville cannot touch him because if you lay hands on him, you will never get a title match again.
Enzo tells Neville that this is the last hour of Raw and in the nine months you held the title, you never sniffed this hour. The reason you are out here is because he is a star. You are out here because he is a star. Enzo says that all of you combined could not match his merchandise checks. He tells them that he will see you on the Zo Show.
Neville looks at the stage and Neville with a spinning back heel kick. Neville sends Enzo into the framed jersey and then he throws Enzo to the floor. Neville sends Enzo into the ringside barrier. Neville picks up Enzo and throws him into the ringside barrier again. Enzo tries to get up and he goes up the ramp to avoid Neville. The rest of the cruiserweights force Enzo to go back to the ring and Neville with a kick and he sends Enzo into the ring. Neville takes the piece of paper and puts it in Enzo’s mouth.
