– Last night’s WWE SmackDown saw Dolph Ziggler continue his anti-gimmicks storyline as he mocked entrances of Triple H, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and DX. Ziggler had this Twitter exchange with a fan over the HBK entrance:
Im sorry but @HEELZiggler spoofing hbk entrance on sd..wasnt that your whole gimmick for some time? ??
— Nicole Green (@nicnakxo) September 20, 2017No. When Im in shorts I’m copying Billy Gunn, but I do the exact same thing in pants, I’m a complete ripoff off Shawn. Got it?

– There was a lot of backstage talk at last night’s WWE SmackDown in Oakland over the “that’s too far chant” during WWE Champion Jinder Mahal’s promo on Shinsuke Nakamura, where he referred to Nakamura as Mr. Miyagi. It’s worth noting that the segment was not uploaded to YouTube. Another hot topic backstage last night was the low attendance. We noted before that the building was believed to be 30-40% full.
– Tonight’s WWE NXT episode will feature Aleister Black speaking to the crowd for the first time. WWE posted the following for the segment:
Aleister Black breaks his silence
Since arriving on the scene in NXT, Aleister Black has let his actions speak for him. Using his head-turning Black Mass finisher to profound effect, the Dutch destroyer has laid out one Superstar after another as he’s accumulated his impressive undefeated streak over the past five months.
However, the mercurial Superstar has yet to utter even a single word during that time, leaving the NXT Universe only to speculate about his motives inside the ring.
Tonight, that all changes. Find out what the mysterious Black has to say when he breaks his silence, exclusively on WWE Network.
