We are back and Kurt Angle is in the center of the ring with the contract signing table and contract signing carpet.

Kurt says for the first time ever at No Mercy, it will be Roman Reigns versus John Cena. Tonight they are going to make it official.

John Cena comes out first.

John takes the mic and he says this match is Wrestlemania worthy but it is going to happen at No Mercy. This is the reason he came to Raw. To be in the ring with the person who says he runs the yard. With The GUY. If you don’t believe that, he will tell you. Ever since Roman Reigns set foot into the ring, he has not been the blue chip prospect, he is the blue chip prospect who has been protected by everyone.

John says we have been through a whole heck of a lot together and he has zero Fs to give and he is the dude who gets no protection from. That is why he wants to fight Roman Reigns. He knows Roman doesn’t want to fight with him.

Roman Reigns comes out, without an introduction from Kurt Angle and he makes his way to the ring.

Roman looks at the contract and then he looks around the arena. Roman takes the mic and he stands in the center of the ring. Roman says he wants to get this right. He wants to know if he is scared to fight Cena. Is that what is in your head? You won’t understand this because no one said this to you before but you aren’t as big a deal as you think you are. Roman says he does not care what John has done or will want to do, but he has done something that you will never be able to do. Roman says he retired the Undertaker. Maybe it isn’t that he doesn’t want to fight Cena, he doesn’t need to fight him.

Cena says everyone knows Roman is the big dog in the back. John says he is a polarizing figure. Some people want him to have a heel turn. With you, it is different. John says they go back and forth with you because when they look at you, they see a cheap ass corporate made John Cena bootleg. You aren’t THE Guy, you are A guy, desparate to fill shoes you cannot fill. Cena says he is not the Undertaker. He is not broken down with a bad hip. Cena says he is at his best right now. If you sign the contract, your Roman Empire, goes up in smoke.

Roman says Cena did it again and he is the king of it. He takes anything and spins it. You boo Cena because you want him to be a bad guy? They boo you because you suck.

Cena points out that they say the same about Kurt Angle and he won a gold medal.

You going to jump off that bus with that shovel and bury as much young talent as you can. That is what you do. That is how you stay on top of the mountain. You will do anything because you are a backstabbing shark. You don’t like Roman because you cannot bury him. You can’t touch him. Roman says he is the one guy in WWE that John Cena can’t see. Why does he want to lessen himself or his legacy to be the next John Cena when he can be the one and only Roman Reigns.

Cena asks Roman if he is done. Cena says Roman Reigns is a fool. It is better to keep your mouth shut if people think you are stupid than to open your mouth and make them right. You are saying the same thing that everyone else says and blame him. John says it took him five years to cut a halfway decent promo but now he is going to shrink him down to size.

John says everyone thinks he has this magical golden shovel to keep everyone down. John says everyone in the crowd has the keys, but you have to blame him. John says he has heard it for ten years and he has hurt it from a lot of people. John says he hasn’t main evented Wrestlemania in 5 years. He was the opening match at SummerSlam. John says he was honored to hold the US Title to help introduce new talent into the WWE like AJ Styles and Kevin Owens. You took the US title as a demotion. John says he is still here because Roman can’t do his job.

John says there is only one rule… step up or step aside. John says he heard about the one guy who could keep up and John says he looks at him and listens to him. John says Roman should be ashamed that John is part time because he can do it better part time than Roman can do it full time.

John wants Roman to sign the contract and Roman does it.

Roman throws the table aside but Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows make their way to the stage.

Karl talks about all of the egos. Luke says he does not think there is enough room in this arena for their egos. Luke and Karl say they are not good brothers and they need to be taught a lesson by a few good brothers. Luke says they are going to beat up a couple or… NERDS.
