WWE has released NXT Superstar HoHo Lun. Lun was part of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and defeated Ariya Daivari in the first round of the tournament but we eliminated in the second round. Since then he has worked a few NXT television tapings, most recently losing to The Velveteen Dream. WWE also used him for NXT Live Events.
As previously noted, WWE is making budget cuts in order to increase their bottom line profit margin. It was rumored that the company may be making a few roster cuts.
