As seen in his latest promo, Goldust teased that he may find his next “hero, villain or beautiful starlet” to grace his silver screen. Goldust ended the promo by saying whoever it is will shine like gold under his direction.
Dave Meltzer indicated on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Goldust may be transitioning into a manager role. As seen on Monday’s RAW, Goldust will either be naming a superstar that he will align with at SummerSlam or he will simply be at the event to basically scout someone.
In regards to his program with R-Truth, the feeling is that it was a flop. The company’s thinking might be that rather than keep Goldust in a mid-card role, they might be able to use him and his mic skills to help elevate another wrestler.
