– This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring the fallout from Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view, drew 2.535 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.548 million viewers. The show also featured the return of Chris Jericho, who faced Kevin Owens and AJ Styles in a Triple Threat main event for the WWE United States Title, which saw AJ take back the gold.
In comparison, Monday’s RAW drew 3.067 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.153 million viewers.
– WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels indicated on Twitter that he will be appearing at this weekend’s WWE NXT live events in Wisconsin and Minnesota. PWInsider reports that HBK will be working as a producer for the shows. Michaels has been working with talents at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando but this will be his first live event tour.
