During the Mailbag segment of today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, a reader wrote in and asked about the plans for a feud between Randy Orton and AJ Styles.
Dave Meltzer explain that the company did had plans for a major feud between the two prior to Orton’s return from injury. Those plans eventually got nixed once Orton returned and they decided to turn Styles babyface. Orton was then put into a program with Bray Wyatt.
It’s unknown if the company plans to have them work a program anytime soon in the near future. If we hear anything, we’ll keep you updated.
