As seen on Smackdown, Jinder Mahal came out to demanded a Summerslam opponent, and he got a challenge in the form of John Cena. Cena formally introduces himself and says he’s coming for his 17th title, and Jinder’s friends and anything he has won’t be enough, so consider this a warning and to cue his music.
Daniel Bryan comes out and says he appreciates the challenge and the quest for a historic title reign, but he and Shane McMahon make the matches here. Bryan says Cena was brilliant at Battleground, so next week he will face someone who was brilliant tonight, and he will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a number one contender’s match.
As per #SDLive GM @WWEDanielBryan, @JohnCena & @ShinsukeN will go 1-on-1 NEXT WEEK for the right to challenge @JinderMahal at #SummerSlam! pic.twitter.com/ui4SWl2hJ9— WWE (@WWE) July 26, 2017
