WWE announced that they have released Austin Aries on their website. Here is their announcement:
“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Austin Aries. WWE wishes Aries the best in all of his future endeavors.”
As of this writing, no other details are known to exactly why he was released. It was said that after his program with Neville for the cruiserweight title, that he would be taking some time off. Aries has been absent from WWE television lately.
