PWInsider.com is reporting Zack Ryder is backstage at tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live TV tapings in New Orleans and is scheduled to make his return from injury.
Ryder has been sidelined since December with a knee injury after he and Mojo Rawley won a #1 contender’s match for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships. Ryder was originally believed to be sidelined for 4-8 months.
Additionally, PWInsider.com is reporting here has been backstage talks of a big angle for American Alpha tonight on WWE Smackdown Live to get them back onto television, as well as a match between Charlotte and Natalya on tonight’s show.
