As noted, injured WWE star Braun Strowman, who has been out of action since undergoing elbow surgery, has been cleared to return to the ring.
According to The Wrestling Observer, Strowman’s TV return date has yet to be confirmed, but he will be working the upcoming WWE Great Balls of Fire PPV, likely in a match against Roman Reigns. Strowman vs Reigns was the plan for Great Balls of Fire before Strowman went down with injury, so that’s the likely plan for Strowman’s TV return.
Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title is the planned SummerSlam main event.
