We reported back in August of last year that WWE had plans at one point to bring in the Bully Ray character, however it never ended up actually happening.
While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Ray confirmed that those rumors were true and they did have plans to bring the character in, however those plans got nixed just one day before it was about to go down.
“We came one day away in August from debuting Bully Ray in WWE. At the last second, the decision was made to not go forward with it. Bully Ray was ready to go, but that’s all I can tell you. We were one day away, and they had to pull the plug on it.”
