It was announced on Monday’s RAW episode that The Big Show would be participating in the Andre Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, which would indicate his planned match against Shaq has been nixed.
While The Big Show attributes to Shaq not taking the match seriously as to why the match may have been called off, that may not be the only factor. Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the reason Shaq may have pulled out of the match had to do with money. Meltzer mentioned that Shaq is well off and the money offer WWE probably offered him wasn’t worth his troubles.
