WWE 205 Live Results – Feb 28, 2017

We start off with a look at Neville’s discussion with Tony Nese on Raw about their tag match.

Tom Phillips is with Jack Gallagher. He asks Jack of what he will expect from Neville’s address. Jack says he expects to hear Neville insult the WWE Universe. He expects to hear Neville talk about how he obliterated everyone. He expects Neville to talk about how he will be champion forever. On Sunday, when the King faces the Gentleman, the winner will not be whom Neville is expecting.

We are in St. Paul, Minnesota and your announcers are Austin Aries, Corey Graves, and Mauro Ranallo.

Match Number One: Noam Dar (with Alicia Fox) versus Lince Dorado

Dorado with a rollup when Dar is distracted by a delivery man with flowers. Dorado with a cross body for a near fall. Dorado with chops. Dorado with a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Dorado is sent to the apron and Dar misses a clothesline but he kicks Dorado in the knee and he gets a near fall. Dar chokes Dorado in the corner. Dar works on the elbow and he takes Dorado to the mat and continues to work on the arm. Dar sends Dorado into the turnbuckles. Dar with a rear chin lock.

We see Rich Swann watching in the back from a strange angle to scout one of his opponents on Sunday.

Dorado with a jaw breaker and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Dar runs into a knee and Dorado with a rana. Dorado with an overhead belly-to-belly throw followed by a chop. Dorado with a handspring stunner for a near fall. Dorado goes up top and leaps over Dar but Dar with a running kick to the leg. Dar with a running kick to the head and he gets the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

After the match, Alicia celebrates with Dar.

Noam says the sweetness and beauty of these flowers cannot compare to the sweetness and beauty of Alicia Fox.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Austin Aries is in the ring and he brings out Akira Tozawa.

Aries asks Tozawa about turning down Brian Kendrick’s offer to be his protege and he wants to know why he turned it down.

Tozawa says he respects Brian Kendrick but he wants to do it on his own.

Aries says he appreciates that and we see what happened between Tozawa and Kendrick.

Aries asks Tozawa what is he going to do about that.

Tozawa says he wants to fight and he wants to fight now. Tozawa screams and Brian Kendrick comes out.

Brian tells Tozawa it is question and answer time. He has a few questions for Tozawa. What makes you think he is going to fight Tozawa on his terms. It is because you do not know who you are dealing with. He says he is the Man with the Plan and he fights on his terms.

Brian asks Tozawa what makes him think he can make it in the WWE without his help. Brian says it is because you are a brat, a selfish brat. You gave up a golden opportunity.

Brian asks Tozawa what makes him think that he is going to fight you right now? Kendrick says that he could have made Tozawa a champion and a somebody.

Kendrick says he will have to cut off Tozawa right there. If you want to talk to him, you better learn English first. You are just like all of these Minnesotans. You struggle with the English language. Kendrick says class is dismissed.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari versus Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and TJ Perkins

Ali and Nese start things off and they lock up. Nese with a waist lock take down and he poses. They lock up again and Nese with an Irish whip but Ali floats over and hits a back handspring before giving Nese an arm drag. Alexander tags in and he kicks Nese and continues to work on the arm. Perkins tags in and he connects with a forearm off the turnbuckels. Perkins with a hammer lock using the leg and then he falls back to work on the shoulder and he gets a near fall. Ali tags in and he works on the arm and drops his body weight onto the arm.

Perkins tags in and he continues to work on the arm. Nese with an Irish whip and then he sends Perkins into the turnbuckles after Perkins tries for a float over. Perkins with a cross arm breaker but Daivari breaks it up. Perkins sends Daivari to the floor and then Gulak is sent to the floor. Ali with a splash of the turnbuckles. Nese trips Perkins and sends him into the announce table. Nese sends Perkins back into the ring and Daivari tags in and he hits a neck breaker and gets a near fall. Daivari with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Gulak tags in and he hits a running head butt to the ribs.

Gulak with a Gory Special and he pulls the arms together and then he squats while Perkins is on his back. Daivari tags in and he punches Perkins in the ribs. Perkins with a kick to Daivari but Daivari with a kick and short arm clothesline for a near fall. Daivari stretches Perkins. Perkins gets back to his feet and he hits a mule kick to escape the hold. Both men are down. Gulak and Ali tag in and Ali with a clothesline and back elbow. Gulak with an Irish whip but Ali goes to the apron and he hits an enzuigiri followed by a rolling neck breaker. Daivari stops Ali’s attempt at the inward 450. Gulak with a forearm and then he puts Ali in the torture rack and he sends Ali to the mat but Alexander breaks it up. Daivari with a Harley Race knee to Alexander. Perkins with a slingshot drop kick to Daivari. Nese with a super kick to Perkins. Alexander with a plancha.

Gulak runs into an elbow from Ali and Ali with a tornado DDT. Ali sets for the inward 450 splash and he hits it and Daivari puts Gulak’s foot on the rope. The referee holds Ali back when he argues with Daivari. Nese with a German suplex into the turnbuckles. Nese and Perkins tag in and Perkins hits the Detonation kick for a near fall. Alexander with a springboard clothesline to Daivari. The referee sends Alexander to the apron and he misses Gulak tripping Perkins on the apron and Nese with the running knee for the three count.

Winners: Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, and Ariya Daivari

Neville makes his way to the ring.

Neville says it appears that before Fastlane, you all need a history lesson. 205 Live was created to showcase the greatest cruiserweight talent but you forgot the greatest Cruiserweight, him. What happened next? Chaos ensued and mediocrity existed until he arrived. Neville says he changed the landscape of 205 Live and all he received was resentment. He saved 205 Live from anarchy but you show him no gratitude. You would rather cheer for a sideshow act like Jack Gallagher.

You are to blame for Jack Gallagher even entertaining the idea that he is on Neville’s level. It is you who bear the burden for his fate. This Sunday, at Fastlane, he is going to obliterate Little Jack. We are going to have a public execution where he will make an example of Jack Gallagher while the whole world . . .

Jack Gallagher’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Jack apologizes for the interruption but this is less like a history lesson and he likes history lessons. This is more like a letdown. He asks Neville if he would like some tea and biscuits.

Neville says he wants to leave Jack in one piece so he can make an example of him on Sunday, but if Jack pushes him, he will do it tonight. Neville tells Jack this is his ring so he can show himself out.

Jack says he is fond of being in one piece, but he wants to make sure Neville thinks this is his ring. Neville confirms Jack’s inquiry.

Jack says this has and never will belong to you. This ring belongs to all of them. Jack removes his jacket and he tells the King if he has a problem with what he is saying, the words or inflection, it is about time that you leave.

Gallagher with a double leg take down but Neville with a knee and he slams Gallagher face first into the mat. Neville kicks Gallagher. Neville with a back heel kick followed by a front kick and a back heel kick. Gallagher wtih drop kicks and a head butt but Gallagher falls back into the corner. Gallagher sets for the running drop kick but Neville goes to the floor. Gallagher with a running drop kick on the floor that sends Neville into the crowd.

We go to credits.
