– This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring a Falls Count Anywhere match between Nikki Bella and Natalya plus a 10-man battle royal to crown a new #1 contender to WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, drew 2.792 million viewers. This is up from last week’s 2.626 million viewers for the post-Elimination Chamber episode.
SmackDown was #6 in viewership on cable for the night, behind Curse of Oak Island, Fixer Upper, The O’Reilly Factor, Tucker Carlson and Special Report. SmackDown was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, behind Curse of Oak Island.
In comparison, Monday’s RAW drew 3.216 million viewers, up from last week’s 3.087 million viewers.
– Just to clear up any confusion, Finn Balor is still scheduled to be a part of WWE’s main roster following last night’s WWE NXT appearance after the University of Central Florida tapings. Balor is being advertised for RAW live events in March. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Balor has always been scheduled for WrestleMania 33 but there’s no word yet on what his role will be. Balor has been out of action since SummerSlam 2016.
– WWE Music has released Kassius Ohno’s “Hero’s Welcome” theme song featuring Cody B. Ware.
