– As seen on last night’s WWE SmackDown, Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan did an angle where they sent James Ellsworth home because he was sick. This was done because Ellsworth was scheduled to face WWE Champion AJ Styles but Styles is still out with an injury. Ellsworth kept the storyline going on Twitter today with this photo:

– There are currently no plans for a 2016 WWE Slammy Awards special. According to PWInsider, those plans could change and the awards could be revived sometime in 2017. It was reported last December after the 2015 Slammys that WWE was considering moving the awards to WrestleMania Week but we haven’t heard anything else on that since then.
