Samoa Joe got his rematch against WWE NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura at today’s NXT live event in Melbourne, Australia. Nakamura retained inside of a steel cage.
The match will air on next Wednesday’s NXT episode.
Nakamura will now go on to “Takeover: San Antonio” to defend against the winner of a Fatal 4 Way that will feature the winners of Roderick Strong vs. Elias Samson, No Way Jose vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas, Oney Lorcan vs. Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger vs. Eric Young. As noted, those matches begin next week as well.
