– Recent RAW enhancement talent Johnny “I like big, sweaty guys” Knockout worked last night’s WWE NXT tapings from Full Sail University. He teamed with Braeden Knight, another enhancement talent, in a match against Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic that should air next Wednesday night.
– WWE has a new poll asking fans if current six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will be able to tie record-holder Chris Jericho’s nine reigns. As of this writing, 69% went with, “No, three more reigns with the Intercontinental title is asking too much of Miz.” The rest voted, “Yes, the A-lister still has a lot of mileage left on his career for three more runs.”
– We noted in last night’s NXT spoiler report that Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Patrick Clark and Peyton Royce vs. Sarah Bridges (Crazy Mary Dobson) were taped for the December 14th episode. It appears these two matches were dark matches and will not air on TV. This was Nakamura’s only appearance at the tapings but this weekend’s rematch against NXT Champion Samoa Joe in Japan will air during an upcoming NXT episode.
