Possible Match for Next Week’s RAW, Reason Why Mick Foley Hasn’t Taken Time Off WWE TV Yet

– We reported over the weekend that Mick Foley is expected to take time off to get replacement hip surgery.

Our original report stated that he was taking time off WWE television for the remainder of the year because he asked for time off to be with his family during Christmas season and to get the surgery all lined up.

Foley actually ended up appearing at the Roadblock and Monday’s RAW event following our report. We noted that Foley was in town doing charity work for Connor’s cure which is why the company called him in on Sunday.

In regards to his appearance on Monday, We were told told that Stephanie McMahon actually was unable to work Monday’s RAW, so they needed Foley to appear as an authority figure for that show.

– As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Jinder Mahal was involved heavily in the “sensitivity training” angle with Enzo Amore, which ultimately led to Rusev and Mahal beating the holy hell out of Enzo in the closing segments of the angle.

We have been told that WWE decided to throw Mahal in the mix because they plan on pair him with Rusev to take on the team of Enzo and Big Cass, presumably at next week’s RAW. If it doesn’t take place next week, it will be sometime in the immediate future.
