As noted, WWE World Champion AJ Styles suffered what was described as a minor right ankle injury in the main event of WWE TLC on Sunday night.
Styles was pulled from the ring at tonight’s WWE live event in Tyler, Texas and did not appear. PWInsider reports that Styles was pulled as a “precautionary measure” after he hurt his ankle at TLC.
The main event of the Tyler show saw Dean Ambrose face Dolph Ziggler and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a Triple Threat.
AJ is currently scheduled to defend against James Ellsworth on Tuesday’s SmackDown from Houston. Stay tuned for updates on his condition.
