WWE NXT RESULTS – NOV. 16, 2016

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Corey Graves and Tom Phillips.

Liv Morgan vs. Peyton Royce (with Billie Kay)

Morgan with forearms as the bell rings but Royce with forearms and she sends Morgan to the mat and connects with forearms and kicks. Royce with a knee to the midsection. Royce with a head butt and she sends Morgan to the apron and connects with a knee. Royce with a body scissors in the ropes and Morgan is sent back into the ring. Morgan with forearms but Royce with forearms to stop Liv. Liv goes to the turnbuckles on an Irish whip and leaps over Royce and gets a rollup for a near fall. Liv with clotheslines and a drop kick.

Morgan with a bulldog and and STO. Morgan with a forearm to Billie to knock her off the apron. Morgan rolls through into a guillotine but Billie attacks Liv and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Liv Morgan (by disqualification)

After the match, Royce and Billie attack Liv but Aliyah makes her way to the ring to help Liv. Liv is sent to the floor and Royce sends Aliyah onto Billie’s knee with a bulldog. Aliyah is sent into the LED board against the apron,

Liv is brought into the ring for a bulldog but Ember Moon makes her way to the ring and she hits a springboard cross body. Moon with a knee to Royce and a handspring clothesline to Billie. Liv and Ember with drop kicks to Billie and Peyton.

Tom and Corey talk about the Finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but we take a look at Andrade Almas’ attack on Cedric Alexander after their loss to TM61 in the tournament.

They will meet tonight in the main event.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to talk about the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic, including the stipulation that Paul Ellering will be inside a shark cage.

We have a video package looking back at the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic… Year Two.

The lights are out at Full Sail and you can hear the sounds of a guitar and the lights come back on to reveal the return of Elias Samson.

Elias introduces himself and he welcomes everyone to The Return. He sings and mentions that the Drifter walks again.

Elias Samson verus Nathan Cruz

They lock up and Samson backs Cruz into the turnbuckles. They lock up again and Samson lifts Cruz up by the arm and sends him to the mat. Cruz wtih a rollup for a near fall. Cruz follows with an arm drag into an arm bar. Samson wrings the arm when Cruz is in the ropes. Samson with a punch to the midsection and forearms to the back. Samson slams Cruz’ head into the apron and hits a running knee to the head. Samson with a leaping elbow drop but he pulls Cruz up to prolong the match.

Samson slaps Cruz but Cruz with forearms and a kick. Cruz gets Samson on his shoulders but Samson gets to his feet and he hits a reverse swinging neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Elias Samson

We go to Liv Morgan, Aliyah, and Ember Moon in the back. They are asked why they are together. Aliyah says that Billie and Peyton do not run the women’s division. Ember says that inspiration works in mysterious face. Her path became their path when Billie and Peyton got involved. Liv says Peyton acts like Poison Ivy while Billie looks like Olive Oyl. Liv says they have the numbers now so she challenges Billie and Peyton to find a third to face them.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to look at the tag title match for Takeover when the Revival face DIY in a two out of three falls match.

We have a video package.

Johnny Gargano says that there were a lot of people who were hoping they would get the titles at Takeover Brooklyn, but he disappointed them.

Scott Dawson says they came close to winning the title, but they did not win.

Tommaso talks about wanting to win the tag titles. If they win, they cannot take the fact they won the titles from them.

Johnny says if they do not win, what does that mean for them as a team.

Tommaso says Toronto is the last time for them to get the titles.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tom and Corey talk about the NXT Women’s Title match between Asuka and Mickie James as well as the Battle of Canada between Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode.

We have a video package for the Roode/Dillinger match.

Tye talks about the learning experience of being in OVW and ECW in the past. However, Tye lost a series of matches and he was gone from WWE. He says he spent five years trying to get back.

Bobby says that is pathetic.

Tye says the second chance is everything to him.

Bobby asks what makes Tye the perfect ten since he has done nothing.

Tye says it is not arrogance, it is a confidence. It is something he did not have for a while.

Bobby says Tye will not outshine him in Toronto. He will not beat him.

Tye says the past does not matter. It does not matter how glorious Bobby thinks he is, he is getting his ass kicked in Toronto.

Bobby says that on the biggest night of his life, Tye will fail miserably.

We go to commercial.

Andrade Almas vs. Cedric Alexander

Almas tells Alexander tranquilo before the match starts and then before they lock up. Almas goes into the ropes to avoid Alexander and he waves at Cedric. Almas backs into the corner and the referee holds Alexander back. Almas with a side head lock. Almas with a shoulder tackle and Alexander with a leap frog but Almas with a side head lock. Alexander lands on his feet on an arm drag. Almas does the Naito pose of Tranquilo on the mat.

Almas with knees and an Irish whip but Alexander with a head scissors and drop kick. Alexander with punches and a kick. Alexander with a chop and Almas wants more. Alexander obliges and chops Almas some more. Alexander misses a chop and Almas with a forearm. Almas misses a chop and Alexander chops Almas. Alexander kicks Almas in the corner and chokes him. Alexander with a chop that almost sends Almas over the top rope to the floor. Alexander with another chop. Almas slides to the floor when Alexander Irish whips him. Alexander with a baseball slide and then he sends Almas into the ring steps.

Alexander with a boot to the chest and he gets a near fall. Alexander with a chop but Almas wtih a drop kick. Almas kicks Alexander in the corner and he charges into the corner but he stops short and slaps Cedric in the face. Alexander with a forearm and chop. Alexander with forearms in the corner. The referee pulls Cedric out of the corner and then he chops Almas. Almas with an Irish whip but Alexander with a boot and he goes to the apron and tries for a springboard move but Almas with a drop kick to stop Cedric.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Almas with knees and forearms followed by a kick for a near fall. Almas kicks Alexander and sends him into the corner. Almas with a chop and then he chokes Cedric in the ropes. Almas with a knee and then he hits a Yakuza kick in the corner. Almas slaps Cedric again and gets a near fall. Alexander with a sunset flip for a near fall. Almas with forearms and a knee to Alexander and Cedric goes down. Almas with a snap Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Almas sends Cedric shoulder first into the turnbuckles. Almas with an arm bar submission on Alexander.

Alexander wtih forearms and punches followed by a back heel kick. Almas sends Alexander face first into teh mat and then he applies a triangle in the ropes and Almas releases the hold in time. Almas gets a near fall. Almas sends Cedric into the turnbuckles shoulder first one more time and he wraps the arm in the ropes. Almas goes for a Fujiwara arm bar but Alexander gets his foot on the ropes.

Almas kicks Cedric but Cedric with a drop kick to the knee as Almas charges at Cedric and Almas hits the turnbuckles. Alexander with a running forearm into the corner followed by a second one. He calls for another one and Alexander hits the handspring round kick but Alexander did not appear to have the full spring on the move. Alexander with a plancha onto Almas on the ramp.

Alexander sends Almas back into the ring and hits a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Alexander with a Finlay slam but he misses a split legged moonsault when Almas moves. Almas with a rollup into a one arm power bomb for a near fall. Almas puts Alexander in the corner and he stands on Cedric’s chest. Almas sets for the running knees in the corner but Alexander with the Lumbar Check but Almas gets to the ropes. Alexander goes to the apron but Almas kicks Cedric.

Almas with a wrist clutch DDTfor the three count.

Winner: Andrade Almas

We take a look at the NXT Title Match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe.
