– WWE World champion AJ Styles is out first to talk about facing Dean Ambrose and James Ellsworth in the main event tonight. He says he is not allowed to touch Ambrose because of Survivor Series and brings out the Smackdown Live Survivor Series team. James Ellworth is with Dean. AJ wants Ellsworth out of his ring. Ambrose says AJ will have to go through him to get rid of Ellsworth. AJ says Dean is outnumbered but Baron Corbin walked off and leaves.
Shane McMahon comes out. He says that for them to be the best, they have to beat raw as a united front. He announces James Ellsworth is now the Smackdown Live team mascot.
The main event is now the New Wyatt family (Randy Orton & Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose & Baron Corbin and & James Ellsworth.
– Breezango defeated The Vaudevillians to qualify for the Smackdown tag-team Survivor Series match.
– Natalya vs. Naomi is next, Nikki Bella is on commentary. Naomi pinned Natalya. Carmella came down to the ring early and got in an argument with Nikki. Natalya tried to break them up got pushed to the floor. When Natalya got back in the ring, Naomi rolled her up for the win.
– Backstage, Corbin said he wouldn’t tag with Ambrose and Ellsworth. Shane put him in a match against Kalisto instead. Kane will replace Corbin in the six-man tag match.
– Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto never started. Corbin attacked Kalisto before the bell. Corbin slipped on the ring apron and was selling a knee injury. Kalisto attacked the knee.
– It was announced that Baron Corbin is OUT of Survivor Series due to his leg being hurt.
– Becky Lynch defeated Alexa Bliss by submission to retain the Smackdown Women’s Title. Apparently, Alexa’s foot was on the rope during the submission.
– It was announced that Kalisto will challenge Brian Kendrick for the cruiserweight title at Survivor Series. If Kalisto wins, Smackdown gets the cruiserweight division!
– Backstage, Shane and Bryan are discussing who will replace Baron Corbin with. Miz comes in wanting on the team or to finally get his match with Dolph Ziggler. They will face off next week.
– Curt Hawkins defeated Apollo Crews after pulling the trunks.
– The Wyatts vs. Dean Ambrose, Kane & James Ellsworth is next. Ellsworth tagged in, failed to hit No Chin Music, and got pinned by Bray with Sister Abigail.
– Shane McMahon was announced as the fifth member of Team Smackdown at Survivor Series. This wrapped up the Smackdown taping.
