– Dolph Ziggler issued an open challenge on tonight’s show for any RAW Superstar to face him at the November 20th Survivor Series pay-per-view with his Intercontinental Title on the line. No word yet on who they have in mind for his opponent. Besides Brian Kendrick’s Cruiserweight Title, it’s looking like this will be the only title match at Survivor Series.
– As noted, WWE NXT Superstar Austin Aries is set to undergo surgery to repair a large orbital fracture and will be out of action until the first quarter of 2017 some time. Aries suffered the injury taking a kick from NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura last Thursday in California. PWInsider reports that Aries will be undergoing surgery on Thursday of this week.
– Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon announced on tonight’s edition of Talking Smack! that WWE Champion AJ Styles will defend his title against Dean Ambrose at the next SmackDown branded pay-per-view, WWE TLC. The bout will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
WWE TLC takes place on Sunday, December 4th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.
