– As seen on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, James Ellsworth defeated AJ Styles in a non-title match. Dean Ambrose was the special referee and provided a big assist with two Double Deeds to Styles.
WWE SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan announced on Talking Smack tonight that Ellsworth will get a shot at Styles’ WWE Championship on next week’s episode of SmackDown. Daniel Bryan has also announced Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi for next Tuesday’s show.
