WWE Talking Smack Recap: Guests Alexa Bliss and Dolph Ziggler

Following tonight’s WWE No Mercy PPV, a special edition of Talking Smack took place and the following are some notes coming out of the special.

Daniel Bryan confirmed Luke Harper is signed to the WWE Smackdown brand.

Despite losing to Naomi at WWE No Mercy tonight, Alexa Bliss remains the #1 Contender to the Smackdown Women’s Title and will face her for the Championship at the November 8th WWE live event in Glasgow, Scotland.

New IC Champion Dolph Ziggler appeared as a special guest, and he talked his history fighting The Miz in WWE. He noted he needed to step up and prove that he could get the job done tonight, and prove that he could compete at the level he knows he can. He knew that if he could not be the best in his hometown of Cleveland, in front of his family, then he needed to get out of the business.

Daniel Bryan praised the IC Title match tonight, and said that he thought Ziggler and Miz deserved to main event No Mercy.

Shane McMahon congratulated Ziggler, and said he was unsure which Dolph Ziggler would show up tonight, but he said the fighting Ziggler showed up and proved he deserves to be the IC Champion as he earned it tonight.
