The first round of the WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic wrapped on tonight’s episode with Kota Ibushi and RAW Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins defeating Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali, plus Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeating Tian Bing and HoHo Lun.
DIY will now face NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival in the second round while Ibushi and Perkins will go against Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton of Sanity.
Tournament matches set for next Wednesday’s episode include The Authors of Pain vs. No Way Jose and Rich Swann, plus Sanity vs. Ibushi and Perkins.
