WWE Doing A Women’s Tournament Next Year?, ‘This Week In WWE History’ Video, EVOLVE Referee At CWC

– As seen below, the latest “This Week In WWE History” video with Corey Graves and Cathy Kelley looks at WCW Fall Brawl 1995 with “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff receiving some motivation from Gary Spivey.

– As noted, the dark match before last night’s WWE Cruiserweight Classic finale at Full Sail University saw The Bollywood Boyz defeat Sean Maluta and Martin Stone. The referee for that match was DA Brewer, who was signed to EVOLVE after one of their WWN Live seminars and tryouts. Brewer has also appeared on WWE SmackDown as a security guard this summer.

– There’s been talk of doing a similar WWE Cruiserweight Classic series in early 2017 with female talents, according to PWInsider. These plans have not been decided on but it could take place in the first quarter of 2017. The talk of doing a tournament with non-roster women goes back several months.
