– As noted last night, Kota Ibushi was checked out by a WWE trainer after his WWE Cruiserweight Classic win over Brian Kendrick on this week’s episode.
In the video below, Sho Funaki translates for Ibushi in a post-match interview with Andrea D’Marco. Funaki provides a rough translation but it sounds like Ibushi is happy about advancing but not totally satisfied with at least some of the match. He admits to being sore after the match but says the big win has him looking forward to the semi-finals.
